Hello friends! This is Mindy, and welcome to World Cardmaking Day! What a wonderful day to celebrate this amazing hobby we have. Not only does it bring joy to the recipient of our handmade crafty project but we find joy in making it!

I have a special card to share with you today featuring the Rainbow stamp & die set from SCT Delivered. I love a good rainbow but how about we think outside of the box a little and have some fun with colors!

Supplies | Stamps: SCT Delivered – Rainbow Stamp/Die; Dies: Hero Arts, Lawn Fawn; Hot Foil Plates: Pinkfresh Studio; Inks & Cardstock: Concord & 9th; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

I’m using all Concord & 9th inks today including Oceanside, Aqua Sky, Marmalade, and Buttercup.

Tip: Google “color wheels” and/or search Pinterest for some fun color combinations outside of your norm!

While I love using my Misti stamping tool for stamping, this goes a little quicker and keeps the form of the rainbow better by using Comfort Blocks from Gina K. Designs.

Throw in a fun shape to your rainbow! You can use a star, hexagon, or any other shape you have in your stash. I’ll be using the Hero Arts Heart Infinity die. Hearts and rainbows just seem to go hand-in-hand, wouldn’t you agree?

Instead of bright white clouds, I kept the background subtle by die cutting a piece of Concord & 9th Aqua Sky cardstock using the Stitched Cloud Backdrop from Lawn Fawn. This leaves a beautiful stitching detail that doesn’t distract from the focal point of the card.

I like to keep a stash of sentiments handy when I need a card in a hurry. The Perfect Sentiments hot foil plate and coordinating die from Pinkfresh Studio does this for me. Have you tried hot foiling yet? It is absolutely gorgeous! You can catch a quick how-to in the video shared down below and on the SCT YouTube channel.

To really finish off my card, I used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam squares for a little dimension.

Find my process video here to see how I used the fun Rainbow stamp and die to create my card:

To see how this fun card came together, I created a video to share!

Thanks so much for joining me today and I hope you find some time to craft on this amazing day!
