Hello everyone and welcome to World Cardmaking Day here on the SCT blog! This is a time to celebrate crafters from all over the world and inspire creativity among one another.
Today I am featuring a very effective card with a very simple technique! I’m sure you have plenty of small stamps sitting in your craft room just waiting for their moment to shine, and if so, today is for you!
Supplies | Stamp Club, Baked Fresh Paper Pad, Baked Fresh Sequins
I would like to challenge you to create an entire card using one stamp. A simple 2 x 3-inch stamp is perfect for this challenge!
In our example today I have used the new “Give Thanks, Eat Pie” stamp set from Brutus Monroe. This set features a slice of pecan pie as our main image along with some small pecans & sentiment. I will also use the coordinating die, fun patterned paper from the new Baked Fresh paper pad, and Baked Fresh Sequins.

Challenge Guidelines:
- Create a card using just one stamp;
- Submit an image of your creation by Wednesday, October 19th at midnight Eastern in the Challenge #3 album in our SCT Facebook Group. (Note: This is a private group, so please answer the questions when requesting to join!) To find the album, click the “Media” tab, then click the “Albums” tab, select the appropriate album for your submission, then the blue “add photos or videos” on the right. I love your neat pie card using just one stamp!! I especially liked that it was a pecan pie because that is our family’s favorite!!
