We are pleased to announce that Jill Yegerlehner from Jillibean Soup will be joining the Scrapbook & Cards team at the Crop & Create event in Moncton.

Here is a little bit about Jill …

Jill is the owner and founder (or the “Big Bean”) of Jillibean Soup.  Jillibean Soup was started as a concept in the fall of 2007.  After tons of research, Jill decided her love of kraft paper was going to also influence Jillibean Soup’s product lines, marketing, advertising and overall promotion.  Jill launched their first products in September of 2008 – 5 out of the 6 lines were printed on a custom kraft paper.   The custom kraft was manufactured using 100% recycled product.  After that, it was an easy decision to promote Jillibean products at “earth friendly”.  All of the Jillibean paper is printed on recycled stock – the white papers are printed on a 10% recycled stock (the remaining virgin fibers are FSC certified and come from managed forests).  Jill is proud to say that you can find Jillibean Soup product in 44 states as well as 21 different countries.  Jill says we continue to evolve and you can see that through our papers and designs – with each new collection comes a love of new colors and graphics.

Jill got started paper crafting in 1999 when her family gave her a gift of scrapbooking products for a wedding gift.  She wasn’t too keen on getting started but once she, did she was hooked.  She turned her love and passion into her full time job and loves designing new products for this industry.   Jill draws her inspiration from everywhere…her children, clothing, the outdoors, home décor, magazines and even junk mail.  She enjoys visiting vintage/antique shops to find inspiration and décor for their tradeshow booth.

When she has time to scrap, she admits she is completely addicted to punches.  She also loves buttons and all things kraft (go figure ;)).  Cardmaking is more prominent in her scrap room just because it’s easier and more rewarding to finish a card in 20 minutes than sit on a layout for 4 days.

Jill resides in Dublin, Ohio with her husband Eric and three girls Leah (7), Kami (4), Brooke (3).  In her spare time (which she would like more of), she enjoys traveling, photography, spinning, trying new restaurants, scrapping with friends, shoe shopping and finding the “next best thing”. Her secret splurge: reading tabloid magazines.
