If you like a little mystery in your class descriptions, here’s the chance for you! This class features my summer collection from American Crafts, so I can show you more sometime around July! We’ll create two layouts in class – one double and single, all with 12×12 pages – and they would suit a few different themes very easily.  Anything that qualifies as learning will work beautifully: school, museums, camping, exploring, libraries and reading lists.  If the more traditional idea of ‘learning’ in a school sense doesn’t tick any boxes for you, look toward learning life lessons of any kind! You are welcome to create this page with photos of yourself or others, and a mix of people, places, and things will work fine too.  We’ll be working with navy, green, yellow, orange, and red, plus a sprinkling of gold.

Student supply list: (this list may be updated 30 days before the class)

  • Scissors
  • 12” paper trimmer
  • small foam squares/pop dots
  • favourite general adhesive
  • journaling pens you like (I use black or grey but others are welcome too!)
  • optional grey ink + ink applicator

Photo requirements: for the single page, one portrait 4×6 + 1 landscape 3×4. (You’re welcome to adapt the page design to one landscape 4×6 + 1 portrait 3×4, if you’re comfortable shifting the composition.)  For the double page, 7 3×3 squares, one of which would suit a circle frame over the top + 1 4×4 square.
