Mo1 – Floral Fun with Gina K. Designs (virtual class)

Get into cardmaking with Gina K. Designs! In this amazing class, you will make 3 beautiful floral cards for all occasions! Learn tips and tricks for getting a great impression with clear stamps and learn how to create beautiful backgrounds with stencils! Kit will include beautiful, new products from Gina K. Designs and a special gift, too!

Gina K. will be hosting this class virtually from Wisconsin. Through the magic of YouTube, we will broadcast Gina live in to the classroom in Moncton! You’ll be able to ask questions and we’ll have TA’s in the classroom to assist.

Class 1: M02- Focus on The Good Layout Workshop with Vicki Boutin* (2 hours)

Print Shop is one of Vicki’s absolute favourite collections to date! It is jam packed with texture, rich colors and patterns. In this workshop she will take you through a bunch of her tips and tricks for layering, creating appealing pages and using up ALL of the pieces to create eye catching layouts. Get your paper clips ready, we are going to have a blast!!!

• Scalloped boarder punch
• Adhesive- including 3D foam dots, liquid glue, runner
• Ink Blending Tool (we will have some!)
• Distress Ink- Fossilized Amber, Speckled Egg (we will have a few to share)

Class 2: M03 – Design Basics- Creating with Circles and Texture Paste (3 hours)

The place where design and mixed media intersect is Vicki’s favourite place to hang out and create! This workshop is all about breaking design down into basic shapes to create simple formulas for scrapbooking and cardmaking! The focus will be on using circles to create pleasing patterns and will also highlight the magic of metallic texture pastes! Be prepared to learn a few new tricks and most of all have fun creating!

• 1” circle punch
• Scalloped boarder punch

• Palette knife (will have some to share)
• Blending brush

Class 1: M04 – Month to Month: Seasonal Stories with Jess Forster* (3 hours)

Want to get organized for your year ahead? Jess will help you create 12 double pocket page layouts to scrapbook your year by month + season. Using the Echo Park Day In the Life: Volume 2 collection combined with basic pocket page design principles and prompts, Jess will help you to identify + highlight your most important stories from each season, regardless of the stage of life that you are in! This class will help you document 80+ photos and give you seasonal storytelling ideas to help you capture your upcoming years’ worth of memories.

Class 2: Mo5 – Adore U Anthology (2 hours)

Looking for an album to document how much you adore the special people in your life? In this class, Jess Forster will help you create a 4×6 Simple Stories Flipbook using the Simple Stories Heart Eyes Collection! Have fun layering pattern papers, clustering interactive embellishments in pockets as well as learn easy ways to express your admiration through photos and stories. Get your love in this 2 hour heart-filled class!

Class 1: M06 – Shake it Up! (2 hours)

Join Virginia Nebel as she shares her enthusiasm for all things paper crafting! Get ready to put your crafty construction hat on because you are going to shake things up with adding fun inter-active elements to your scrapbook pages! Virginia will expertly break down the DIY process from start to finish in creating magic on your double page and single page layouts.

Student Supply List:

• • 12-inch trimmer*
  • scissors (your favourite fussy cutting ones!)
  • Adhesive: runner, dimensional adhesive (preferably on a roll that you can cut into thin strips to create a shaker element – we will have some in class), liquid glue, strong ¼-inch double-sided liner tape (like score-tape, sookwang, etc.)
  • pencil
  • ruler (6” one is good)
  • thin-tip black marker (to draw faux stitches),
  • 2-inch circle punch, small butterfly punch **
  • paper clips (we will cut and organize papers first)

* you will need a 12-trimmer with a track blade to cut a slot into the middle of the paper to create a slider panel. You only cut this slot one time and if you do not have a track blade trimmer, one will be available in class to share to make this one cut.

** the 2” circle and smaller butterfly punches will be available in class to share if you do not own these punches.

Suggested photo sizes:

  • ‘Love’ (inter-active slide-out) double page- one 5.25×3.75, two 3×3, three 2.75×3.75

Class 2: M07 – Capture your memories! (2 hours)

As scrapbookers, we capture life through our camera lens. It’s time to print those photos and join Virginia in her class to create two beautiful double pages to celebrate your cherished memories through the camera lens (almost literally!) You will have so much fun documenting life’s moments, whether they are small, big or something in between!

Student Supply List:

• • 12-inch trimmer, scissors (your favourite fussy cutting ones!)

  • paper clips (we will cut and organize papers first)

Class 1: M08 – Creative Checklist with Meghann Andrew* (2 hours)

Join Meghann Andrew in a two-hour class as we create while ticking off our creative checklist boxes—the design points that Meghann makes sure that she hits with every page to create a fantastic layout! In this class, you’ll use a bright and fun new collection from Simple Stories to create a 12 x 12-inch single-page layout and a double-page spread featuring a traditional layout and coordinating pocket page. This class will give you confidence in your design decisions while creating layouts that you love!

Student Supplies:

10”, 6″, 5″ and 4″ circle template or digital die cut file (template provided – click HERE to download PDF)

Scissors
Standard 1/4” hole punch
Adhesive: temporary, permanent and foam
Foam mat (if you don’t have one in your craftroom, look around your house—mouse pads or gardening mats work great!)

Class 2: M09 – Clean & Colourful Cards with Meghann Andrew (2 hours)

Create clean and graphic card designs using fresh colour palettes and the latest spring products from our friends at Concord & 9th in this 2-hour class taught by Meghann Andrew! Using a variety of techniques like stamping, blending, and die cutting, you’ll create three beautiful cards that show that the clean and colourful style creates eye-catching card designs!
