I love creating cards for Valentine's Day. It lets us card makers use all the red hearts and glitter we want and it's perfectly acceptable! For my card today I decide to take it one step further and create a glittery scientific experiment! The Chemistry stamp set and Die-namics from My Favorite Things is perfect for this love-themed holiday and who doesn't love a beaker full of glitter?!

Chemistry

Supplies My Favorite Things Undeniable Chemistry Stamp Set; My Favorite Things Chemistry Die-namics; My Favorite Things Double Stitched Rectangle Stax Die-namics; My Favorite Things Small brick Stencil; My Favorite Things Cardstock (Grout Gray, WIld Cherry, Smooth White); DCWV Glitter Paper; Versafine Onyx Black Ink

I diecut the base of the beakers with white cardstock and then I used the coordinating dies to add glitter to the insides. I did two with red glitter and one with silver to add a bit of contrast and then I added a red glitter heart to the center one.

I stenciled a brick pattern behind the beakers with grey ink to mimic a wall and then I adhered the beakers onto the card. I also added some small red glitter hearts to the top area of the card to make them look like they were coming out of the largest beaker.

To complete the card I stamped the sentiment directly underneath with black ink and then I mounted the panel onto a piece of silver glitter paper and a red cardstock mat before adhering it the the grey top-folding card base.

Happy Valentine's Day! ;)
