Introducing our newest design team member!

2016SCTTeam_1

Good morning! Thank you for joining us this morning as we share a special announcement today today and fill in one of the question marks above – our newest design team member! We have worked with this wonderful designer many times over the years. Actually from as far back as 2007! Her inspiring style, use of colour and great understand of design make her a perfect fit for our team. Please join us in welcoming designer Stacy Cohen to the team!

Here is a little bit about Stacy:

“I started scrapbooking in September of 2004 and I was immediately hooked.  Scrapbooking has been my creative outlet over the years, and I always say, “It’s cheaper than therapy” (although not much).  I’m a very slow scrapper, often spending several nights on one layout.  I love to fuss over all the little details and get everything just right.  My scrapbooking style could be defined as flowery and feminine, although I love to change it up constantly and play around with different scrapping styles. I am beyond thrilled to be joining the Scrapbook & Cards Today Design Team!”

Stacy lives in Los Angeles, California with her loving husband, two wonderful daughters, two cats and two dogs.  The family fosters dogs for a local rescue group, so often have an extra furry friend staying with them!  Stacy works part-time as an insurance agent, specializing in health and life insurance.

As a way to further introduce Stacy and her beautiful style, we asked Stacy to share some of her favourite projects over the past year.

I really love your foster dogs page. Good for you for rescuing the poor little lost ones. My daughter does this as well and it gives her lots of joy.

Another person who loves butterflies as much as I do. I love using them in my layouts and on card and it is quick to punch up colour if you want with them. Thanks for the new ideas.
