Good morning and thank you for joining us on a special Sunday!  Scrapbook & Cards Today is so thrilled to be a part of the #shareyourheart blog tour in celebration of the release of our dear friend Courtney Walsh's beautiful new book, Paper Heartsa beautiful contemporary romance novel.

What is a “paper heart” you ask? In the book, paper hearts were a tradition between a married couple. Throughout the year, they would record the things they loved about it each and then on Valentine’s Day, they hung them up in their home. Abigail (the heroine) discovers these hearts and accidentally sets off a town-wide frenzy in which people are stopping to record positive, uplifting, encouraging things about the people they love.

Here is a sweet trailer sharing more about the new book…

The idea of the #shareyourheart Blog Tour is to create our very own "paper hearts" and we want to encourage all our readers too as well!  Anyone could use a little extra love right?  And as papercrafters we certainly have the tools to make someone's day!  We asked design team member Nicole Nowosad to create this beautiful card using the free cut file she designed in last Tuesday's post here.  Look at Nicole's beautiful "paper heart"…

What you do: Create your own version of a “paper heart”. This can be ANYTHING that suits you. Literally a heart cut from a piece of copy paper can work or a post it note. Or, if you’re feeling artsy, it can be a painting, a sketch, a bookmark, or of course a card!

Who do I write my heart to? Your kids. Your husband. Your best friend. A teacher who changed your life. A mentor. Someone you admire who has no idea who you are. In short, anyone you want!!
