Hello it’s Virginia here today! I love making mini-albums, in all sorts of sizes, shapes and themes. I like to embellish the front of my mini’s and to keep the album cover from getting too worn I like to cover it with a clear plastic sleeve.
I make my own album covers by using a large cellophane bag available at most packaging stores or save the ones from your paper pack collections. Just cut the cello bag equal to the width of your album (the sleeve is open on both left and right sides) and wrap it around the cover. Since most cellophane bags have a self adhesive strip it makes securing the sleeve together super easy.
I also wanted to share with you a fun approach at styling your pocket pages. This pocket page was a 12 up 2×2 pocket page, I placed a larger photo and adhered it onto the outside of the pockets and used minimal embellishments on the pockets leaving them see-through so that you can reveal a fun pattern beneath it on the next page.
Thanks for dropping by the blog today, have a crafty day!

OMG! Absolutely adorable!!!
Super cute and great ideas, thanks for sharing.
Great idea for the cover a mini album and page.
Great tips, Virginia. Love the cello cover idea. The transparent page divider on top of a patterned paper page is brilliant!
The cello cover is a wonderful tip, Virginia. Our mini albums usually get a lot of handling so this should help protect them.
So cute!!!
That’s a great idea for the divided page! Thanks for sharing!
