February greetings, Virginia here to chat a little bit about square punches. You might think why a square punch is necessary when you can just as easily cut out squares with your paper trimmer? If you are needing to cut out squares repetitively, a square punch is easy and always precise. Still on the fence about making some room for a square punch in your toolkit? How about making see-thru window cards? Window cards are a lot of fun because they show a peek of whats to come inside the card. In my example I played up the ‘sweet’ theme with Doodlebug Design by embellishing the inside of the card.
Love banners? Turn the square punch over and position the strip on an angle into the corners to punch out fish tails to make banners in a snap! Have a wonderful crafty day!
Supplies: Pattern paper, Embellishments, Stickers: Doodlebug Cream & Sugar collection; Punch: EK Success
