Good morning friends and welcome to World Card Making Day 2015 with all of us at Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine! We love celebrating this day. Cards are often given for special occasions such as Christmas, birthdays, and holidays but who does not love a card that conveys thanks, thinking of you or a simple hello from a friend. Regardless of the reason, the thought behind giving someone a handmade card is what counts. Today we have a fun filled day designed for you that we're sure will inspire you to reach into your supplies to create a card for that special someone!
Here is what our fun filled day will look like:
9:00 am The SCT team and a guest come together with a card round robin. From one inspiration piece comes four cards you don't want to miss.
11:00 am Three cards, three designers and three colour palettes.
1:00 pm A sketch challenge featuring sketches from our brand new Creative Cards Vol. 1.
3:00 pm 3t's – tips, tricks and techniques from three guests! It's all about the three's this hour!
5:00 pm We kick off our annual Bring a Smile to a Child campaign with Jennifer McGuire and guests.
6:00 pm The day will wrap up with one final prize!
