Hello! Sheri here today! Lately, I have to admit that I've been feeling a little bit sentimental. The kiddos just finished up their last week of school, and summer vacation has officially started.

Summer break was always my favorite time of the year. I'd look forward to it with great anticipation, as each day was a new little adventure for us. Some days we would venture to the park, to the lake, or off to play a friendly game of mini-putt. Other days, we'd simply hang out in the backyard and splash in the pool, play croquet or badminton, create chalk drawings, or have an all-out water balloon fight.

A couple years back though, things started to slowly change. Somewhere along the way, my kids grew up. Those everyday family outings, and lazy days spent together sadly became a thing of the past.

As I was reminiscing and looking through some older photos, I stumbled across this gem from five years ago. Five years might not seem like a very long time, but I can hardly believe how much my kids have grown and changed since this photo was taken!

I've been reminded as to just how quickly time goes by, and to cherish each and every little moment that I get to spend with them.

AND, since my desk was already a big mess, I couldn't resist making a couple of cards while I was at it. :)  ~ Sheri
