Hi everyone! Jen Chapin here today, and I am sharing a summer themed scrapbook page with you using one of the PageMaps sketches from the Summer 2017 issue. I thought this sketch was perfect for a few swimming photos taken this weekend.
I have been loving 8.5×11 layouts lately, so I knew I needed to take advantage of this sketch. I started with an 8.5×11 piece of white cardstock, then printed my photos at 3×3 square.
For this page, I used Bella Blvd's "Secrets of the Sea" collection which is perfect for water and swimming photos. The palette is so bright and fun, and I love the icons!
I started by free hand cutting a circle from patterned paper and stitched it on to the top right of the page. Then, I used my sewing machine to free stitch another circle on the page to act as a mat for my photos.
After adding a few more embellishments and some journaling, my layout was complete! I hope you'll try this sketch, it's a fun one!
Thanks for stopping by the SCT blog and have a great week!
