Good morning SCT Fans! I am very excited to join you on "Free Cut File Tuesday" to share this month’s cut file freebie I created for you and, we've got something new too! Let’s get straight to the freebie first. Here is what this month’s freebie looks like:
Download HERE!
Love is in the air this month and so, this freebie helps you spread a little love around!
Starting this month, I will be joined by some talented contributor’s from our Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine Reader’s gallery! Today, I am joined by my talented friend Patricia Roebuck, who was featured in our 2014 Reader’s Gallery in the Winter issue. (view HERE)
I asked Patricia to use the cut file in any way she wanted, on any type of project, and check out the amazing layout she sent me.
Supplies: Cardstock: American Crafts; Pattern Paper: American Crafts, Crate Paper; Buttons: Fancy Pants; Chipboard: American Crafts; Vellum: Studio Calico; Label: Studio Calico; Die Cutting Machine: Silhouette Cameo; Adhesive: Scotch ATG, Zip Dry; Sewing Machine: Babylock; Other: Paint, Faber-Castell Gelatos
Isn’t it GORGEOUS!!! Here is what Patricia had to say about her page:
"The heart die cut patterns are so delicate, so I cut out the same pattern to repeat across my layout, backing the cut cardstock with different pattern paper. Since the design of the Nicole’s hearts I shaped into flowers, I fussy cut flowers from pattern paper to compliment both the design and the color scheme. I cut Nicole’s ‘Love’ from kraft cardstock and finished off the title with the same color chipboard letters. Thanks so much for having me Nicole!" ~ Patricia
I will still play along too, so here is what I created this month:
Supplies: Paper, alphas, corrugated cardstock, flair and stickers: Fancy Pants Designs
I chose to cut multiple designs of what I like to call the Shattered Heart shape in the freebie and backed most of the cut out pieces from Fancy Pants patterned and foil papers. I also cut the title quite large and added it to my page with dimensional foam adhesive.
A special thank you to Patricia Roebuck for joining me today! To see more of Patricia’s work, please visit her on her blog or on Instagram: @patricia_roebuck.
Enjoy!
Thank you for the freebie to play with this month! I can see me using this all year too! :) Great inspiration Nicole and Patricia!
I feel really dumb for asking this question, but I know that SCT will happily answer it for me. Since I started following your post some time ago, I see these free cut files and am not sure what they are. Once you download them do you just print them off and cut them out freehand, or hook your computer up to your Cricut and cut them the size you want from there? Sorry but really don’t know how to use them and there are so many nice ones that I would like to use.
Thank you for the inspiration add the cut file!!
Love both layouts! Love the stained glass look too! Thx for the freebie! Happy day to you! xo
