Hello, Scrapbook & Cards Today Friends! Happy Love Week! It’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing a layout I created with the unique Valentine’s Day cut file featured in the Winter Issue and designed by Paige Evans!

Here’s a look at the layout I created using this fabulous hanging hearts cut file:

Supplies | Cut File: Paige Evans for SCT Magazine; Patterned paper, stickers, ephemera, enamel Dots: Echo Park Paper: Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, Scrapbook.com; Other: Vellum, Silhouette Cameo, white thread, sewing machine

I loved the process of filling each heart with patterned paper. I chose to use the Love Notes collection from Echo Park Paper. I used various papers from the 6×6 paper pad to fill the hearts. I love the smaller-scale designs printed on these papers.

After I filled each heart, I used foam adhesive to mount the entire piece onto solid red paper. I added stitching around the solid paper AND on a vellum overlay on top of the hearts. I wanted to add a title and photos without covering up too many of the hearts. Vellum was the perfect solution!

By using vellum, I was able to add a title and photo without covering up too many of the hearts!

I added additional embellishments, many with foam adhesive dots for fun dimension.

How will you use this fun new cut file? Be sure to share your projects with us! Happy Love Week!
