Hello, friends! My name is Dilay (most people call me Dee) and I live on the East Coast with my amazing husband and two fur babies. Although I have been crafting for as long as I can remember, my true passion is designing and creating cards. If I’m not working or spending time with my family, I’m in my craft room making a beautiful mess. It’s my happy place!

What is your favorite color combination, Dilay? 

I am always trying new and different color combinations, but lately, my go-to combo has been pink and red!

Where have you been finding inspiration lately? 

I’ve been finding a lot of inspiration lately by decorating and shopping for furniture since moving back to the East Coast and settling into our “forever” home. The process has sparked creative ideas as I choose pieces and add personal touches to our living space.

If you had one piece of advice for a new paper crafter, what would it be?

My one piece of advice is to embrace the creative process without overthinking. The creative process should be fun and bring you joy. Trust your instincts, and if a project feels right to you, simply go with it. Allow yourself the freedom to enjoy the journey and express your creativity!

If you have a free hour in your day, how would you spend it? 

It’s so hard to pick just one thing, but if I had a free hour in my day I would probably spend it going to vintage shops and thrift stores because I love the thrill of discovering unique treasures and I appreciate the charm of pre-loved items that carry their own stories.

What are you most excited about in your craft for 2024?

In 2024, I’m most excited about joining more crafting events (both online and in-person)! I want to meet all of my crafty friends IRL!
