Hello SCT friends! Erica here with you today to share a layout inspired by the gorgeous fall issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today!

Every single page in the fall issue is filled with inspiration! In this issue, I loved that so many designers used leaves on their projects! Meghann Andrew’s layout on page 11 is stunning and so eye-catching. The beautiful texture on the colorful leaves with that black and white stripe paper! Becki Adams’ layout on page 26 is another that really caught my eye with the colorful leaves, as well as Angela Simpson’s card on page 65! Angela’s simple, but the stunning card has texture, color, and that splatter that really makes it pop! After browsing the issue, I was left wanting to use all the leaves! 

I found a beautiful leaf cut file from Cut To You that I knew would be perfect to back with pattern papers from the Carta Bella Welcome Autumn collection. The rich colors in this collection are stunning and I knew they would make for the perfect fall layout! One thing I love about Carta Bella is their textured patterned papers! The feel of their paper is like no other and it adds a little something special to your layout. 

I used the Welcome Autumn 6 x 6-inch paper pad to back the leaf cut file from Cut To You! I love how it turned out and these colors are just perfect! Once my cut file was backed with pretty papers, I added foam adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L all over the back to lift the large cut file off of the page and give it some dimension. 

For my background, I went with my go-to white textured cardstock from American Crafts and trimmed it down to 11.5 x 11.5 inches, and matted it on one of the patterned papers from Welcome Autumn. I used two square photos of all 5 of our boys and the colors in these photos match beautifully with the colors in the collection. I matted the photos with paper from the Welcome Autumn 6 x 6-inch paper pads and adhered them to my page. For my embellishment, I used stickers from the 12 x 12-inch sticker sheet, but also fussy-cut elements from the 12 x 12-inch papers. This collection has great papers that are perfect for fussy cutting! 

For my title, I used a banner sticker from the Welcome Autumn 12 x 12-inch sticker sheet and finished off my layout with typed journaling and enamel dots! I just love all of the colors and patterns on this large leaf cut file and I think it really stands out on the page!
