Hello and welcome, SCT friends! It’s Dilay Nacar here to share another card with you featuring Concord & 9th. This time, it’s a card for Father’s Day that’s perfect for your dad or any father-like figure in your life! This card can easily be recreated and customized with different colors or sentiments.

Concord & 9th Cardstock Colors:

  • Trophy: Stardust
  • Banner: Midnight, Cranberry, Poppy
  • Dad (shadow): Powder
  • Hearts: Cranberry, Poppy
  • Stars: Powder, Midnight
  • Streamers: Matte Gold, Gold Glitter

I started by die-cutting the background using the Sunburst Card Front Die and adhered it onto a top-folding A2-sized card base. Next, I die-cut the trophy from the World’s Greatest Dies and adhered it to the center using thin foam adhesive. For the layered banner, I die-cut the banner die included in the same set three times—once in blue and twice in shades of red. For the top layer, I die-cut “Dad” from the We Are Family Dies in white, and the shadow in light blue. I adhered “Dad” to the top of the banner, then mounted the banner onto the trophy using more thin foam adhesive.

Above the banner, I added #1. You can stamp this part, use a number die set, or, in my case, use the previously released Bravo Dies. I cut this three times in white, stacked and adhered them together, and then attached it to the trophy.

This next step is optional, but I wanted to add a little something extra! I didn’t have streamer dies, so I improvised and used the bow dies from the All Wrapped Up Dies. I die-cut these in mirror and glitter gold cardstock and tucked them behind the trophy. Taking it one step further, I die-cut the swirls from the Just Calling Dies and tucked those in behind the trophy as well.

To finish, I added a few stars to the background and a simple layered heart to the bottom of the trophy. I hope you enjoyed reading about today’s card and feel inspired to create something new for your Dad or a special guy in your life!
