Hello, friends! It’s day four of week four in our Partner Celebration, and we think it’s about time that we switched from holiday designs to a holiday that’s a bit closer to us—Halloween! Hi! It’s Jenn Shurkus for Lawn Fawn here to share a fun Halloween card using brand new Fall & Winter products released today!
Is it too early to start working on Halloween projects? I don’t think so. To make this card, I used the adorable bats from Fangtastic Friends, a sentiment from Simply Fall Sentiments, Full Moon dies, and Outside In Stitched Rectangles.
Stamp the bats, the tree branch, and the pumpkin bucket. Color them with medium of your choice. I like to use Copics, and you can see the colors I chose in the photo below.
Then I inked the moon with No.2 Pencil Ink Pad, and the background with Grape Soda Ink Pad. Both are cut using patterned papers from the Spiffy Speckles paper collection. I stamped the little stars in the background panel, glued it altogether, and voila, Halloween card is done!

What I love best about Halloween is seeing kids dressed up in adorable homemade costumes. They are so cute, and are having a lot of fun all dressed up. These bats are so cute! I have always LOVED bats…since I was a small child, so it’s not surprising :)
This is SO cute! I always loved seeing my children excitedly dress up and decorating the house using a TON of spiders! In real life we would be terrified but it’s fun for Halloween!
I just love seeing all the kids dressed up and having fun. I always decorate little containers for their goodies.

My favorite thing about Halloween is watching all of the scary movies they show around the holiday. My favorite movie is the original Halloween with Jamie Lee Curtis. I also love carving pumpkins and decorating!

The thing I like about Halloween is all the great colors I can use in my card making. I usually create about 20 cards for grandkids, great grandkids, friends and others in my family. They like getting an unexpected greeting in the mail.
These are soooo cute. I wish I were a better colorist…but practice makes perfect!
Now that my boys are adults I don’t get to participate as much with the trick-or-treating activities but I love handing out candy and seeing all the neighborhood kiddos dressed up each year.

I have no young children in my life at the moment but I still like creating decoration especially 3D projects like haunted houses. The bats and full moon would fit in perfectly!
