Hello, Scrapbook & Cards Today friends! It’s Becki here to share a layout with you that I created using the Summer Snapshots collection from Simple Stories. Summer at our house means that it’s time to finally get outside after a long winter and spend time in our garden. Our little raised bed garden is one of the good things that came out of the 2020 pandemic.

Putting in a garden had been on our list of things to do for a few years, but we hadn’t taken the time to do the work. Because we were spending so much time at home, we decided that it was finally time to make our little garden a dream come true. We’ve loved having a garden and have had so much fun making that little corner of our yard come to life.

This year we had two of my nieces come to visit on the day that we were planting our garden and we were planting plants from the greenhouse at their school. It was so fun to spend time with them in the garden and watch them get so excited with each plant they planted.

One thing that I immediately fell in love with in the Summer Snapshots collection was the cute Polaroid frames. I knew that I wanted to hand stitch around each frame to make the fun colors stand out. Then I printed photos to fit in a couple of the large frames. I love how the stitching enhances the photo frames!

After arranging the frames in the center of the layout, I added the title and a few embellishments around the frames. The frames were also a perfect place to add journaling and a few embellishments. I love how this all came together so quickly and easily with such a fun collection!
