Hello there, SCT fans! It’s Meghann Andrew with you today! Have you checked out the latest issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine yet? It’s filled with all the FALL feels and I was so proud to contribute this layout to it, featured in the 10 Most Wanted column:

Supplies | The Stamp Market: Miss Modern collection 12 x 12 paper pack, Autumn Leaves dies, Gorgeous Greetings stamp, Gorgeous Greetings dies, Color Crush cardstock, Color Crush pearle thread, Color Crush ink in Coral Reef, Color Crush enamel dots, Crystal Confetti, Miss Modern Hello Washi, Miss Modern phrase stickers; We R Memory Keepers: Rounded tag punch, angled tag punch, Revolution die cutting machine; Elle’s Studio: Black Jane tile alphabet stickers; American Crafts: Vicki Boutin CreativeFX iridescent glaze; Scrapbook.com: Double-sided adhesive roll, Smart craft glue; Therm O Web: Zots small clear adhesive dots; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: Crafty foam tape ; Font: Ink Bandit

This layout started with an idea of stitched leaves, and I instantly thought of the wonderful new Color Crush threads from The Stamp Market. I just love how their Color Crush colors match perfectly across paper, enamel dots, ink, and now thread! Using the Autumn Leaves dies, I set to work die cutting leaves in beautiful autumnal hues: Coral Reef, Melon, Rusty, Citrine, Curry, Leafy, and Mossy cardstocks. Some of the leaves were left with just their veins adhered to the center, and others I wanted to stand out a bit more by adding a stitched detail.

Once my stitching was complete and the leaves were in place, I added a touch of shimmer using the Vicki Boutin CreativeFX iridescent glaze. I love that this touch made the leaves shimmery and appear wet. I also scattered Color Crush enamel dots to coordinate with the leaf colors and topped them with sparkly Crystal Confetti.

Now that my cascade of leaves was finished, it was time to work on my title. I love combining stamps, stickers and more to create my page titles, and this one was created with a fun phrase from the Gorgeous Greetings stamp and continued on using the Elle’s Studio Black Jane tile alphabet stickers, finishing with a digital die cut word cut using the Ink Bandits font.

Because I had so much color and texture on the right side of my page, I needed to bring visual weight to the left to balance it, and I did that with these colorful tags punched using the Color Crush cardstock and WeR Memory Keepers tag punches in both the rounded and angled.

I love this page so much, and plan to frame it instead of hiding it away in an album! I’m so excited that in addition to talking you through my process, I also get to SHOW you in this process video:

There is still time left to document the fall memories that give you all the feels, and I hope that this layout has inspired you to do so, and take your creativity to the next level. Although it may take a bit more time, it is always worth it in the end! Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today, friends!
