Happy Mixed Media Week from Therm O Web! Can you guess what we love most about November? From its rich, warm color palette to its cozy autumn themes of falling leaves, coffee, and gratitude, November offers such an abundance of creative inspiration for paper crafters like us. It’s also the perfect time to explore new styles, new techniques, and new products, as we spend more cozy hours indoors. One of our favorite new products at Therm O Web is our line of Brutus Monroe Toner Mixables, part of our Deco Foil collection. There are also two new holographic foils to go with the Toner Mixables, in beautiful autumn shades of copper and pewter, both used for designer Ashley Young’s Grateful Card.
Toner Mixables are available in two sizes, A2 card fronts and 8.5”x11” sheets, and designs are printed at the corresponding scale, making them wonderfully “mixable” for cardmaking, scrapbooking, and mixed media projects. Each collection includes four foilable, mix-and-match designs; Floral Fantasy features petite floral and foliage backgrounds, while Really Radiant includes rainbow, number, quote, and sunflower designs. You will need a hot laminator to transfer foil to the printed designs, but they can also be left black-and-white or colored using favorite ink-blending techniques, as shown here. Papers may be inked before or after foiling since the foil will resist the ink, but be sure to gently blot excess ink with a paper towel.
It’s easy to add foil to Toner Mixables papers; simply cut a piece of foil slightly larger than paper and place foil on top of the printed design, color side up. Place the stack inside a folded piece of parchment paper (enclosed), and run through a hot laminator, using the crease as the lead edge. Peel away the foil to reveal the shiny, metallic finish. One stunning Floral Fantasy leaf background is complete!
For her focal area, Ashley die cut two wreath shapes from solid black Deco Foil Toner Sheets and foiled one in Copper Ripples and one in Pewter Ripples. The holographic design of the foil creates interesting texture and a lovely, color-shifting iridescence that makes any project just a little more festive. Shapes cut from solid toner sheets are foiled just like the printed designs using the laminator. You can see the before and after in this photo.
You can also see the color-shifting iridescence of the Pewter Ripples foil on the background of this sweet Hope Your Fall is Extra Mice Card from designer Andrea Shell, using a second design from the Floral Fantasy pack. You can truly make the Toner Mixables match any project just by adding some ink and your favorite foil; Therm O Web now offers more than 70 colors of foil across our Deco Foil and designer lines. With a card front so beautiful, you can keep the rest of the card design fairly simple.
This Toner Mixables card front is from the Really Radiant pack and was foiled using Brutus Monroe Tide Pool foil. Just look at that dramatic before and after! Designer Amanda Wilcox turned her background into a cute, coffee-themed A Big Cup of Thanks Shaker Card. The playful quote design is perfect for a wide range of occasions. Grab your favorite foils, a stack of toner-printed papers and spend time building backgrounds now for cards to come.
To celebrate the end of Mixed Media Week, we’d love to give away this prize package of NEW Brutus Monroe Toner Mixables, Transfer Foils and iCraft Adhesives to one lucky blog commenter:

I have to dig a bit deeper to come up with what I love about November, but it is the calm before the storm. There is time to make Christmas cards and there is time for us to remember on November 11.
What I love about November is the changing colours of the leaves and prepping and decorating for Christmas!
So beautiful! In love with the colors!
Getting together with family and friends on Thanksgiving is my favorite part of November. After dinner we go around the table and each person relates what they are especially grateful for this year. Last yer, my four year old grandson said that he was grateful to get up each morning and see his little sister’s smiling face! I can’t wait to hear what he says this year.
I love having time in November for reflection. Whether I am taking a walk along nature trails, putting my garden to bed for the winter, or curling up with a warm drink, I like to reflect on the soldiers who secured our freedom, the many blessings in my life, and how I want to share those blessings with others.
These products look fabulous and
love the foil. I love the lovely colors
of Fall and getting pumpkins!

I love the cooler temps we get in November, but usually still some sunny days. Beautiful foiling projects! I just foiled some toner card fronts with much better results after letting my laminator warm up for about 30 minutes. I’m anxious to try again with a toner sheet die cut as my past attempts weren’t very good. Would love to win–thanks for the chance!
I love it when all the Flame Red Maples on the street turn their bright red.
I love the way the light changes in November! With the sun lower in the sky, you get a different effect than in the bright summer, and more opportunities for really great photos!
Great projects. Such beautiful colours. I did not know you could do that with your laminator. Thanks for the tip Therm-O-Web ❤️

I live in the mid south so November is when we get our peak colors, that coupled with Thanksgiving is what I love most about November.
There are no more beautiful fall colors here in November. The trees are bare and we are already cocooning indoors from the cold damp weather. But the great thing about November is that all the yard work is done, and now I can spend more time in my craft room getting my Xmas projects started. These Brutus Monroe Toner Mixables, and Transfer Foils are just what I need to add sparkle to my Fall projects.

So special with the foiling. I love the colors, Thanksgiving and my birthday in November.
November is a great month for weather at my home in Houston, Texas – the leaves don’t turn colors, but we can finally wear jeans and sweatshirts! And of course…gathering together with my family at the end of November for a traditional Thanksgiving is the BEST.
I don’t have any foiling products but have been so intrigued with the look and the possibilities. If I happen to win, the next investment will be a laminator. :) Thanks for the chance!
My favorite part of November is the chill in the air and the falling leaves. A lovely time of the year in NY!
What I love about November is that the yardwork is done for a few months and I can spend more time crafting!
So many things to love about November, but as soon as the calendar turns over from October, I start mentally planning my Thanksgiving menu, which is a vegan Thanksgiving spread. I also start doing a mental calculation of whether or not I made enough holiday cards over the summer, and try to spend some time crafting holiday cards.
I love the smell of November! The longer evenings, the move to Cozy….time to create!
What I like most about November is that between the middle and end of the month my now young adult children make it a point to spare some time and decorate the Christmas tree as a family. They are already looking forward to it!
