Hello, crafty friends! It’s Dilay here, and I am back today with a floral birthday card featuring gorgeous dies, stamps, and colored cardstock from Taylored Expressions. If you enjoy die-cutting and have tons of cardstock scraps as I do, then this card inspiration is right for you!

Supplies | Taylored Expressions: Premium cardstock (in Peaches ’N Cream, Lavender Glaze, Fruit Punch, Plum Punch, Gumball, Confetti Cake, Candy Corn, Pineapple, Potato Chip, and Mint Julep), Frame in Frame cutting plate, Garden Variety Dies, All Together – Occasions Stamp, All Together – Occasions Die, Gina K. Designs: Detail Gold Embossing Powder, Connect Glue, Clear Quartz Solid Sequins; Honey Bee Stamps: Clear Embossing Ink; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: 3D Foam Strips, 3D Foam Squares, Scrapbook & Cards Today: White cardstock

I began by die-cutting two frames from the Frame in Frame cutting plate from white cardstock, then adhered them to the center of my top folding card base using Scrapbook Adhesives 3D foam strips.

Next, I pulled out a bunch of Taylored Expressions colored cardstock scraps and the Taylored Expressions Garden Variety die set and went to cutting! Once the die-cutting was complete, I assembled the flowers and adhered them together. To add a bit of depth and dimension, I adhered the stems and leaves first, then added each of the flowers using more foam tape adhesive.

For the sentiment, I gold heat embossed the All Together – Occasions cling stamp, then cut it with the coordinating die. I love having stamps like this in my stash because it makes creating sentiments a breeze and allows you to stamp and die-cut a bunch of sentiments all at once! To finish, I adhered the sentiment to the center of the florals with a bit more foam tape and added a few clear embellishments!

Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to reach for your favorite products and cardstock scraps to create something beautiful!
