Hello and welcome, SCT friends! Dilay Nacar here, and today I’m excited to share three fall-themed projects, two of which come with a fun and sweet surprise!

Supplies | Concord & 9th: Basket Weave card front die, Sweet As Pie dies, Pumpkin Builder dies, colored cardstock, ink cubes, Harvest Home patterned paper; Other: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares, Gina K. Designs Connect Glue, Scrapbook & Cards Today white cardstock

Concord & 9th recently launched a new pumpkin-building set, and it’s absolutely adorable! They make for perfect table place settings or delightful holiday party favors! I crafted two pumpkins, one small and one medium, which I used to conceal sweet treats. Let’s take a look!

To make the pumpkins, I used patterned paper and colored cardstock from Concord & 9th’s Harvest Home collection, Spiced Cider cardstock, and Briar Rose cardstock. For an extra touch, I used the latest Basket Weave card front die to cut the Spiced Cider cardstock and then assembled the pumpkins.

As a bonus, I crafted a coordinating card using the new Concord & 9th Sweet As Pie dies. I began by die cutting the background with the Basket Weave Card Front die, then layered it with the square die cuts and assembled the pie. To make the pie, I die-cut the elements in white and then ink blended them with Concord & 9th ink colors in Wheat and Nutmeg for the crust and Briar Rose for the filling. To give the pie a sugar-coated effect, I applied glossy accents on the pie (and I love how it turned out!)

I hope you enjoyed learning more about these projects and feel inspired to create something sweet yourself!
