Sometimes the pressure to “get a page right” or “do a story justice” can get in the way of our creative process. When that happens, I like to do a warm -up page that doesn’t even have a photo! For this page, I scrapbook a quote that I love and want to remember. Because it’s not a photo of a special memory or moment, there is no pressure to make this page, which allows me a chance to get my creative juices flowing.
When I’ve completed this page, I can either put it in my regular album with my other layouts, or I can start a whole new album of just my favourite quotes. I usually make these pages pretty simple, so I can still have scrappy time left to do another page with more personal relevance to my scrapbook album.

This is a great idea! Your quote layout is lovely! TFS!
I really like this idea. I’ve got quotes that need highlighting and this is a beautiful way to do it.
Recently spent some time in Halifax (beautiful city), told my husband if I saw you I wouldn’t ask for your autograph (you are a rock star after all) but I would ask you to outline something for me. He said “What?” I just smiled and said “never mind”! Keep the outline alive!!
Love!!!
So beautiful!
Absolutely stunning!
Love the idea for remembering quotes that touch our lives!
