Hello, crafty friends! It’s Nathalie here to bring you a  new idea for your Halloween celebrations. We all love Halloween candy, so what better to pack it in a cute and nice wrap box? My kids are in their late teens, which means no more trick-or-treating. However, they still look forward to a small pack of treats. This means I get to be creative with their treats. Here are this year’s packages featuring Echo Park’s Spooky collection.

Supplies | Echo Park Spooky Collection: Patterned paper, cardstock, ephemera, stickers, tags; We R Memory Keepers: Scallop Arches Border Punch, 1-2-3 Punch Board; EK Success: Scoring Board; Doodlebug: Black Beetle Twine, Lime Twine;  American Crafts: Gold Foam Alphabet Stickers; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: Adhesive

These little packages are so easy to  put together and are a wonderful way to give anyone a small, sweet surprise.

I created the packages using patterned papers from Echo Park’s Spooky collection and We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punch. I just followed the instructions and got the boxes built in minutes. Then, it was all about filling them with treats, and closing them with a bit of glue.

With the boxes filled, it was time to embellish and personalize each one. I started by creating a scalloped border for the bottom edge of the box (I used basic cardstock from Echo Park’s Spooky collection, and a punch from We  R Memory Keepers). I used lime green twine to keep the boxes closed, and also add a pop of color.

Next, I created paper rosettes for each of the treat boxes and glued them atop of each box. There were so many cute tags, ephemera pieces and stickers that it was easy to embellish the boxes with them. I made sure to tie a pair of tags to each of the boxes, this allows me to add a small note on the back of them.

Finally, I added an alpha foam sticker to each of the paper rosette’s centers, so my kids can recognize their boxes.

I hope these boxes inspire you to create a cute way to pack your treats for your Halloween celebrations. I cannot wait to see what you create!
