Echo Park Paper Company is one of my all time faves. I sometimes cut kits to makes cards too! Their recent Winnie the Pooh set was so stinking cute! I’m ready to learn all about this!
I love Echo Park and the colours in this pack are so fun and kind of give a retro feel too. My aha is that I seem to love everything when it has stitching on it – I need to give that technique a try!
Great ideas and now I have a new outside the box layout!
My AHA moment was using envelopes (that I already have a ton of) in my albums!
I love Echo Park and this is an awesome layout!
Loved the use of 6×6 pad papers for layouts
Love the class with the tags. Will help to create a small and quick birthday gift.
Such fun colors, perfect for a summer layout. Echo Park is one of my favorite paper companies.
Beautiful vibrant colours. Nice collection.
Your use of the 6×6 patterned paper for 12×12 layout pages is inspiring. The layout you made was so colourful.
I think I had an “aha” moment with each class but I really had the light bulb turn on in Allison’s 4 pm class … I have sooooo many scraps and they would be PERFECT for a layout like that! I loved the stitching I had no idea it was by hand!! I got alot of ideas from that one too! The 3 pm class tag was another one since I’ve never seen an album made like this! I so enjoyed all the classes today!! THANK YOU!!!! Time to get creative now!! ;)
The use of 6×6 paper pad on a 12×12 layout. It opens up a ton of possibilities:)
Such a fun layout. I have used those punches for banner tails but not arrow points. New technique to try!
Thank you for this class – great ideas for using the 6 x 6 paper pads.
Love, love, love this layout! Great way to use 6×6 pads, too! My fav moment was seeing Allison cut the arrow out. with her punch. Genius idea!
the rub ons Natalie used so freely did it for me bc i actually dont have any in my stash. will def be ordering some today
No big “ah ha” moments but I did enjoy the travel notebook video. That’s a format I’ve been hesitant to try due to its size but I might have to revisit the idea soon. I’m thinking they could make good gift items.
Love the class with the thread. I have to stop to be afraid and just give a try.
I love when pages can use up a variety of products in my stash. Loving this page. So much good inspiration today. Thanks for that!
I loved the use of the punch to create the arrow! I also did not realize that the patterns of 6×6 are a smaller pattern of the original!
Aha! What a great way to use smaller paper or even scraps! The layout looked like it was created with a 12×12 piece of paper. The stitching gave it such a finished look.
My aha moment was when Meghann said she was a bit nervous creating live. It helped me to know that even the best still get a little shaky sharing their talents. I always feel nervous giving a gift of something I’ve made and it helps to know that’s a normal reaction. I also learned so much from everyone today. Thanks to all!
MY ‘aha’ moment was realizing I NEED to get a few new & exciting PUNCHES!! It’s just simply Amazing what you can make with them for layouts!! AWESOME job Allison Davis!
My aha moments was cutting the arrows with a hexagon punch. Great idea!
Really inspired by the use of 6 x 6 papers
I have lots of 6×6 sitting around. I will definitely give this a try.
I had an aha moment watching Allison use her hexagon punch to make those arrows! Amazing and I cannot believe I didn’t realize how easy it was. :) This is such a great way to use 6×6 or 6×8 papers.
Thanks for the awesome idea Allison! I might scraplift this idea with some of those branding strips that I have scattered on my desk :)
My AHA moment is I should really be using my 6×6 paper pads. I have so many and such pretty patterns, I need to use them. Will be scraplifting Alison’s layout for sure!
Such a cute and colorful layout!
I love using the 6×6 paper pads for cardmaking because the designs are often scaled just right for card sizes! I also love the look of adding stitching detail and it isn’t anything I remember to do very often!
The aha moment from me was seeing all the possibilities when Allison cut the paper pad into tiny little strips and then made the arrows and created that beautiful page. Now I’m sitting here looking at my scrap pile and time to create. TU Allison
Alison, that arrow strips is really nice, I’m going to need to try, on a day I have a lot of patience. Echo park paper collection was great. I have a lot of 6×6 and this gives me a lot of ideas. Aha moment, definitely aha moments, there was so many. Really enjoyed all the classes, lots of tips and all the beautiful paper collections. That envelope mini class was something. Tag album by Andre was great, I’m thinking mini gifts.
Love 6×6. Makes it easy to mix patterns.
Using the hexagon punch to do the ends of the tags is brilliant! I really love this layout. I have so many 6 x 6 paper pads and enjoy Allison’s ideas on how to use them on my 12 x 12 pages.
Becki’s suggestion of using a black and white photo to use in a colorful busy background to make it stand out was my ahh moment! simple things sometimes we miss
my aha moment was that when stitching I should be using 3 strands and not all 6. I never thought about separating my floss before.
I love the colors and technique used in this layout. It’s perfect for those boy pages that can be hard to create with many products out there.
My aha moment was how Alison used the hexagon punch to create the arrows. I love my hexagon punch but now this just adds another element to it. And this Echo Park collection is amazing. I love the colours.
Aha moment….print photos with white borders to help them stand out. Also, I didn’t know I loved the EP Summer Vibes collection so much. It’s going on my list!
I guess I have so many 6×6 pads so I really should start using them! Maybe the aha is when Allison made the arrow! Clever! Now I have to try!!!
I’m sad to see the day end on your posts. I’ve enjoyed them!
This Echo Park collection is very colourful and love it. My AHA moment is realizing that Allison simple arrow strips can make a fabulous layout. Did not understand her direction when I first started watching the video. But totally love the page it is so cute with her sons first visit to the beach. Great page Allison congrats.
Wow!! What a wonderful day full of scrapbooking ideas. I can’t wait to use all of the ideas from today.
It was a lot of work for Allison to do all the cutting, stitching & assembling of this LO but it was spectacular! ✅
I had 2 ‘aha’ moments. One when Meghann really showed that ‘white’ is your friend & the other when Nathalie did the 2 page LO in the TN. This was such an interesting & fun day. Many thanks SCT & sponsors – & thanks for the chance to win. 🦋🌻🩵
I just love using up all the paper!! Thinks so much for all of the inspiration!
My ‘aha’ moment …. I think I need some hexagon punches!!
Clever ways to use all those 6×6 pads that I typically use for cards! Loving the color vibe on this new Echo Park summer collection!!
Traveler’s notebooks! I think these might provide a new and fun way of scrapbooking our travels. Gonna have to give it a whirl!
The different types of envelopes used in the mini album!
Small paper pads equals small pattern! I have a few, envelopes for an album, uses for 6×6 paper pads, and hand stitching (inspired to try it). In general so much inspiration that I want to try all of it. Going to think out of the box for 6×6 paper pads. Thanks, Allison.
