Welcome friends! This is Mindy and I’m here to share inspiration with you featuring the March Let’s Stamp Together Kit from Taylored Expressions.

Since Taylor so graciously offered a special discount code to the Let’s Stamp Together subscribers for TE stencils, I thought it would be a good time to show off some of those amazing stencils with these images. Don’t forget, the discount code expires on April 24th!

I will admit, I have quite the collection of TE stencils!

So in my video, I started off by stamping my images onto Sugarcube cardstock using Oreo Ink. I used a mix of OLO Markers and my Copic Markers to color in the images. Here are are the colors that I used:

Rainbow: (OLO) OR3.4, Y2.3, Y2.2; BG2.3, BG2.1; (Copic) RV17, RV14, RV13; YR07, YR04, YR02

Bee: (OLO) OR3.4,Y2.3, Y2.2; WG7, WG5; BG2.3, BG2.1

Flower: (OLO) BV2.3, BV2.2; YG8.7, YG2.5

Birdhouse: (OLO) OR3.7, WG7, CG3;

Boots: (Copic) RV17, RV14, RV13 (OLO) CG3

Bird 1: (OLO) WG7, WG5, WG3, O2.5, O2.4

Bird 2: (Copic) RV42, R30, R000

Sun: (Copic) Y18, Y08, Y06

I keep all of my stencils in the Simple Storage Binder. There are also beautiful rainbow-colored dividers that you can add to the binder to help organize them.

The stencils I’m using today are very basic stencils that you can use in any of your cardmaking projects. Some of my favorites are the masking stencils. Featured on my cards are: Masking Cloudy Days, Masking Circles, Masking Rectangles, Masking Square Windows, Set The Scene Grass, and Breezy Stencil.

In today’s video, I’m sharing a couple of fun techniques where you can use up to three stencils on one scene!

I kept the colors very light and neutral by using Salt Water Taffy and Confetti Cake with a blending brush.

You may also notice in the video that I keep pulling out a silicone mat to use as a surface when gluing my images together or even as an ink pad holder. This mat is the Teal Embossing Pad but I found so many other purposes for it.
