Sit back, relax, and let us show you some amazing Holiday cards we created with some of our Impress-ion Letterpress Dies. You’ll see Lynnea show off techniques such as multi-colored inking, creating backgrounds, and coloring impressed images with alcohol markers. Ready? Let’s go!

Let’s kick it off with a shiny project using the Silver Bells Impress-ion Letterpress Dies! Don’t forget to step outside of the box and use unexpected colors to create your letterpress designs. Lynnea used multiple colors of blue inks to create the bells and cut them out to create a trio of ringing Holiday bells as the focal point for her card. She repeated the same technique to create the greenery behind the bells. Adding multiple colors of ink breathes new life into your images and adds instant dimension. A shiny silvery sentiment from the Good Tidings Sentiments Impress-ion Letterpress Dies towards the bottom of the card finishes off this first project!

Let’s take a peek at another technique that can be used with the Impress-ion Letterpress Dies! This time Lynnea pressed the images from the Gift Wrapped Impress-ion Letterpress Dies into LDRS Creative Watercolor Paper with black ink so that she could add color to the images with alcohol markers and a silver glitter gel pen. The Oh Christmas Tree Impress-ion Letterpress Dies are the perfect companion and add something special to the background scene on the card. A sentiment from the Good Tidings Sentiments Impress-ion Letterpress Dies, some silver shimmer watercolor spatters, and a scattering of blue gems is all that’s left!
Products featured | Evergreen Row Impress-ion Letterpress Dies, Good Tidings Sentiments Impress-ion Letterpress Dies, A2 Stitched Layered Card Toppers, LDRS Creative Watercolor Paper Pack, LDRS Creative Hybrid Ink Collection
For our last technique, let’s create a background with the Snowflake Ornaments Impress-ion Letterpress Dies. Lynnea blended shades of purple and blue ink across a piece of LDRS Creative Watercolor Paper and used silver pigment ink and all four of the snowflake images to create a snowy background. On a separate piece of watercolor cardstock, she used multiple shades of green and blue inks to add color to the Evergreen Row Impress-ion Letterpress Dies and cut out 3 of the images to create a line of trees across her card. All that’s left to add are some silver shimmer watercolor spatters to create a snowy scene and a silver sentiment from the Good Tidings Sentiments Impress-ion Letterpress Dies towards the bottom of the card.
We hope you’ve enjoyed this up-close look at some of our favorite Impress-ion Letterpress Dies. These dies are just what you need to create elegant and beautiful projects this holiday season!
