Get ready to shine, friends! Team Spellbinders is here today on day four of this week’s Partner Celebration posts to share shimmering inspiration, perfect to prep for the holiday season! Let’s see what they’re sharing with us today!

Here at Spellbinders we are so happy to introduce our newest collection: Glimmer for the Holidays. Since we are all enjoying the Partner Celebration this month, I thought it would be fun to highlight one of our great partnerships: Glimmer Plate + Stencil Set! Pairing a stencil with a hot foiled image is truly a quick and easy way to pack a punch with your next card project.

This stunning card started out by hot foiling the Full Bloom Poinsettia plate with our classic gold foil, then bringing in the layered stencil to add color. Using three shades of pink ink really creates a softly blended flower. Be sure to check out the video that walks you through this project, step by step!

After creating the first card, I wondered what I could do with my leftover piece of foil, instead of just throwing it away. So, I took out one of our solid hot foil plates (they come in a variety of shapes) and used the Essential Solid Arch to get a “negative” image of that beautiful poinsettia. After die cutting it, I simply added a sweet sentiment and a small floral die cut. I just love how I was able to create two cards from the same piece of foil!

Be sure to check out all five of the brand-new glimmer hot foil plates in the Glimmer for the Holidays collection on our website and find fresh inspiration at the links below!
