Planner 101, our year-long planner course taught by Jennie McGarvey, is wrapping up, but it’s not too late to join this self-paced class! Today we wanted to share a little look into what we have been learning this year!

We started the year in the first two months deciding why we wanted to plan and what we wanted to include in our planners—decisions that are very personal and make a difference as to the type of planner we choose, and how we use them.

One of our favourite months of the class focused on memory planning! We loved combining planners with memory-keeping products! The creative possibilities are endless!

Our next few months focused on design! The lesson on colour was so inspiring and moved us right into the next lesson on design & decoration, which opened our eyes to go-to planner designs that will help us to create easy & fun spreads.

Did you ever want to try to use what you have in your stash for your memory-keeping or cardmaking hobby in your planner? We discussed using stickers, stamps, and other pieces from your stash in your planner in the next few lessons.

Sometimes our planner needs an extra element to make it work for us, and the lesson on interactive elements gave us fantastic ideas for how to amend our planner spreads!
