Good morning! Today is the final reveal day for our SCT Delivered Let It Snow layout kit and today we are featuring the beautiful work by Jen Gallacher! We sent a kit to each of our kit designers and love what they created with it and how much they had leftover that they could keep creating. We asked Jen some questions about working with this kit and here’s what she had to say…

What was your favorite product in the kit and why?

I loved the ephemera pack from Crate Paper. It contains so many beautiful pieces that even after using tons of them on my projects I still had lots leftover.

Did you use any item in a unique or unexpected way?

I enjoy finding things on the paper to fussy cut. For my single-page layout, I cut out several winter icons from the paper and phrases. I still have some of the paper leftover so I can use the B-side, but I love it when a paper has cool icons to cut out. It’s like an extra ephemera sheet.

Do you tend to scrap winter events/holidays with traditional colors & themes or do you prefer more unconventional products?

Typically I select winter colors that match my kid’s snow gear. What I loved about this kit, is that there were lots of winter colors in it: blue, green, and even a touch of pink. Such a pretty color combination! It made featuring my favorite snow memories so much easier.

Any tips for finding time to create during the busy holiday season?

I wait until the house is quiet and everyone is doing their own thing. Then I carve out time for myself to craft. Or I might do some stamping while a holiday movie is on.

Thank you, Jen! Beautiful design!
