Hello SCT fans! It’s Lisa Dickinson with you today to kick off February, the month of love! Since Valentine’s is right around the corner, I created a new, fun cut file that will be perfect for documenting the holiday, or any page about LOVE! Take a look:

Supplies | Cut file: Scrapbook & Cards Today; Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned paper: Jen Hadfield for Pebbles, Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper; Cut file: Blue Star Design; Die cuts: Maggie Holmes; Stickers: Maggie Holmes, Jen Hadfield; Stick pins: Maya Road, Jillibean Soup; Electronic cutting machine: Silhouette Cameo; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; FONT: Afterglow

The heart wreath cut file comes with both the outline file and interior heart files. I love filling these shapes with all kinds of patterned paper. For a moody look, I chose lots of blues, lavenders and dusty pinks to fill the heart centers on this page.

The title is a mix of a loopy die-cut word and letter stickers. Contrasting fonts like a handwritten script and serif typewriter are great to mix and match. Try it for your next title!

Since the page has a theme of love, a touch of sparkle is necessary! I added old-fashioned feeling stick pins with pearl tops and gold-embossed butterflies for a soft, romantic feel.

You can use this wreath cut file as a large frame or border like I did, or reduce the size and use it multiple times as a background. It’s also perfect for Valentine’s Day cards! I’d love to see what you create, so be sure to tag us using the #sctmagazine hashtag on social media when you share!
