We can hardly believe it’s already day five of the 12 Days of Holiday Giving 2023! Time flies when you’re inspired! The merry holiday projects continue with cards from Dilay Nacar today, and don’t miss out on the final two prizes of this week filled with generous giveaways from our partners!
Hello and happy holidays, SCT friends! It’s Dilay Nacar here, sharing two fun and colorful holiday cards for the SCT 12 Days of Holiday Giving event! Today’s cards feature products from The Stamps of Life combined with some vibrant patterned paper, and I’m so excited to share them with you!Â
Supplies | The Stamps of Life: Rectangles die set, Christmas Fun collection paper pad, Tree and Pond die set, Be Merry serif word die set, Wedding Ring A2 background die set, Christmas add-on dies, Gift die set; Gina K. Designs: Connect Glue; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: 3D Foam adhesive; Scrapbook & Cards Today: 80lb. white cardstock
This first card features one of my favorite paper patterns and is super easy to recreate! To begin, I die cut a piece of white cardstock using the largest die from the Rectangles die set and die cut the multi-colored stripe paper from the Christmas Fun collection paper pad using the second largest die from the same set and adhered them together. Next, I die cut three trees from the Tree and Pond die set using white cardstock for the trees and shadows. I then die cut the Be Merry serif word die set in gold glitter cardstock and the shadow in white cardstock and adhered that to the center of the striped patterned paper. To finish, I tucked the trees behind the sentiment and adhered them into place.Â
The second card is a bit more intricate but equally fun and festive! I began by using the Wedding Ring A2 Background die set to die cut each color of dotted pattern paper from the Christmas Fun collection as well as one additional set in white. I adhered the white set to an A2-sized card base and then inlaid the pieces of dotted paper to create a fun mosaic pattern.Â
Next, I flipped through the paper pad and picked out a few pre-colored trees, gift boxes, and stocking images (that coordinate perfectly with the Christmas add-on dies!) to die cut and adhere to the card. I die cut the Be Merry serif word die set in black cardstock and the shadow in white cardstock and adhered that over the images. To finish, I die cut a gold bow from the Gift die set and tucked that in behind the sentiment!
I hope you are inspired by my cards today! Thank you for stopping by and joining us during this amazing holiday event! Wishing you all a magical and festive holiday season!

Chocoate chip and walnut. It is a classic that has stood the test of time and just so delicious!

Ginger snaps are the best
Always a staple in my holiday cookie rotation is whipped shortbread! They’re so light and I wind up eating more than I give out!
Snickerdoodles are my favorite homemade cookie!
My moms shortbread cookies are the best !
Great happy cards! I love homemade frosted sugar cookies this time of year, they pair wonderfully with a cup of coffee!
Love these cards!! One of my favorite holiday cookies of all time that my mom made are chocolate thumb cookies with a maraschino cherry in the middle and chocolate drizzle on top!
These cards gave me some great inspiration as I have several of these items to create with. My favorite cookie is Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip…..who can go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter!!
My favourite cookies are gingersnaps. They remind me of my grandmother who was the most beautiful and wonderful person. She made amazing gingersnaps. I miss her dearly.
My favorite homemade cookies are snickerdoodles!
This is a fantastic giveaway.
M favorite holiday cookie is a seven layer of goodness… I don’t think it has an official name ????
my favourite cookie is oatmeal chocolate chip
What a yummy subject! My favorite homemade cookie is my Grandmas peanut butter cookies. They just melt in your mouth..
Love the colour combinations.
Super cute cards! Love the presents and tree! Such fabulous prizes – thanks Hero Arts and The Stamps of Life – so generous! I love all the Christmas cookies! Because for some reason I only make them at Christmas, even though there’s no rule that says I can only make them at Christmas lol! One of my favourites though would have to be our thimble cookies – a shortbread type of cookie, rolled in walnuts, given a centre dent (using my finger rather since I don’t have a thimble) and filled with homemade strawberry jam!
I have never met a cookie I didn’t like, but my favorite cookie by far is my mother-in-law’s raisin cookie. It is a soft, chewy cross between a snickerdoodle and an oatmeal raisin cookie.
my favorite homemade cookie is a classic chocolate chip fresh from the oven. Oooey, gooey and delish!
Favorite cookie is probably iced sugar cookies! Yummy! Super bright and colorful cards today! So fun! Thanks for sharing!
I just pulled out the recipe last night for something my mum used to make called cremola cremes. They are a lovely sandwich cookie.
I love Peanut Butter Blossoms at Christmas. I also love a good gingerbread, but haven’t found the perfect recipe.
Wow! Great prizes! I love a homemade chewy gooey chocolate chip cookie!
Martha Stewart’s chocolate gingerbread cookies are my favourite, followed by my Grandmothers shortbread (which I can’t replicate)!
The cards are so
festive and I love
Sugar Cookies ????.
Carla from Arizona
My favourite cookie at Christmas is a type of shortbread
It takes a pound of butter and icing sugar, a little flour. Mix, roll in a ball and bake. When it comes out of the oven the balls are rolled in icing sugar asap and left to cool. That second icing sugar used melts into the cookies and they melt in your mouth ????
Love stamps of life Inspo! Oh what fun!
Growing up my mom made soooo many cookies and candies for Christmas, so it is hard to pick just one. Spritz probably tops the list, but frosted sugar cookies and ginger cream cookies are close runner ups!
Such fun and cheerful cards! Favorite cookie is chocolate chip but if at Christmas, is a cream cheese and jam cookie. Fabulous prizes.
I love sugar cookies! Especially if they have some yummy icing on top!
My favorite is my friend’s snowman. Ritz crackers with peanut butter in the middle. Dipped in white chocolate. Hat made of mini marshmallow dipped in dark chocolate. Then he is decorated I don’t remember how. It’s so yummy!
Two homemade cookies tie as favourite: oatmeal chocolate chip and peanut butter. Delicious year-round!

LOVE the cards you created and the products you used. I participated in Crop & Create Delivered in September this year and we got those papers. Love what you did with them. Gave me some great ideas. Also love the Hero Arts alpha die set…Thanks for sharing your talents, Dilay! Happy Holidays!
Gorgeous cards! My favorite cookie is a festive iced gingerbread man.
Incredible prizes…thanks for the chance to win!
Good old Chocolate chip cookie is my favorite cookie!!
My favorite would be Mexican Wedding Cakes. Unfotunately, I don’t make them & seldom have anyone give them to me these days! Very festive cards!
My favourite cookie has got to be an icebox cookie. My grandmother made these every year for Christmas. When I was younger o turned my nose up at them because they had cherries in them but now I absolutely love them. I wish I had not wasted so much time now liking them, as my gramma doesn’t do much baking anymore :(
My favorite homemade cookie is Oatmeal raisin. I can eat them at any time of year. I also like Molasses cookies. Yum! I’m getting hungry.
My favorite holiday cookie is chocolate shortbread but this year I have a hankering for the cranberry cookies my Ma used to make…. Gonna have to go dig out that recipe!!
My favorite cookie is chocolate chip.
Love shortbread cookies
Sugar cookies are my favorite. The cards are very festive, merry and bright.
My favorite homemade cookie is Snickerdoodles. That cookie recipe I’ve been best known for since I was a kid. I used the same recipe my grandmother gave me.

I love these big alpha dies. My favorite cookie is super chunky chocolate chip.
What great prizes. I’m not a huge cookie person but do love a good homemade soft sugar cookie, especially during the holidays.
My favorite are the classic chocolate chip!
My favorite homemade cookies are the Christmas cookies we make with icing and sprinkles. We do a sugar cookie version and a cocoa cookie version.
