It’s already day four of our 12 Days of Holiday Giving event, and we think you’ll love what Jana Eubank is sharing with you today! Get inspired to document a special holiday memory, and don’t miss out on the wonderful giveaways at the end of the post, too!
Hello, friends! It’s Jana Eubank. Today I’m sharing a layout featuring the beautiful Simple Stories ‘The Holiday Life’ collection. The traditional color palette of red and green underscored with black and soft cream will compliment your holiday photos perfectly this season!
Supplies | Simple Stories cardstock; Simple Stories The Holiday Life collection: patterned paper, 12×12 Stickers, Journal Bits, Decorative Brads, 6×8 Pad; Scrapbook.com metal dies: Nested Circles, Snowflakes; Other: sewing machine with tan thread
I began this layout by stitching various 11″ wide strips of patterned paper in a block to a base of Color Vibe Avocado cardstock. These patterns look so cute together and add a homespun, cozy Christmas vibe to this layout.
Next, I created a cascade of snowflakes floating down the left side of my layout using two die sets from Scrapbook.com, Nested Circles and Snowflakes. The snowflakes were die-cut from Color Vibe warm white cardstock and the circles were die-cut from the dotted side of the Color Vibe brick cardstock. Each snowflake circle is accented in the center with a shiny Simple Stories decorative brad.
I also accented each snowflake circle with floral stickers and die-cuts for added holiday flair! The cluster of Journal Bits in the top-left corner of the photo call your attention to the journaling.
I love to look for larger-scale pieces that I can fussy cut from the Simple Stories Element papers or the 6×8 paper pad to decorate my pages. This time, I found large tile letters in the 6×8 paper pad that I used for my title. I tucked in more stickers and die-cuts around the letters to tie the title in with the rest of the elements on the page.
The Journal Bits include so many fun shapes and word die-cuts that are perfect for accenting your layouts. I found two tiny tags that I layered together, and then tied to the bottom of the photo using white twine.
Scrapbooking with the Simple Stories The Holiday Life collection definitely put me in the mood for the Christmas season. I’m ready to deck the halls! How about you?!

My favorite Christmas destination is anywhere with my snow. There’s something about sitting next to the Christmas tree with the lights on, drinking a cup of tea, and watching the snow fall outside that makes me feel joy.
Holiday life is a beautiful collection. My favorite destination would probably be home. Cuddled on the couch with a hot chocolate watching Christmas movies. Happy holidays everyone!
Great giveaway! Simple stories… amazing collection!
Adhesives… can always have more!
my favorite Christmas destination… my couch with Netflix! LOL!
My favorite Christmas destination is anywhere my family is. Right now it’s celebrating with my sister and her family in Alberta and enjoying Christmas through my nephew…even though he’s a teenager and not as keen as a few years ago!
My favorite Christmas destination is Germany ????????!! Their Christmas Markets, Festivities, Food, Decorations are unforgettable! Simple Stories is always a must have and Jana is always an inspiration! ????

It will be phone calls from relatives
and a quiet day. Love the layout.

My favorite Christmas destination is home. Time spent with my family is so precious.
Great project and giveaways. My favourite holiday destination is my living room. I can sit anywhere and look at my gorgeous silver Christmas tree and other Christmas decorations.
My favorite Christmas destination is where ever my kids and grandkids are, whether that be my house or one of their homes. We only see our son and his family about twice a year, so spending time with them and our daughter and her family all under the same roof at Christmas time is always on my Christmas wish list.
It has always been home….family home
Staying home is best.
Home is my favourite Christmas destination (year-round favourite, to be honest). I love my cozy home!

My favorite destination is with my family -usually at one of my children’s home and the rest come over, I am then surrounded by 6 little ones.
I’m truly a Christmas at home person…although I can make the magic happen anywhere. Happiest memory…Christmas in Germany where the entire village was a scene from a movie. Sadest…Christmas in Hawaii…yes, the two of the grands live there, but the fake snow and Hawaiian shirts were hard to take!
My favorite Christmas destination is our family cottage.
Disney World! Ok it would be my favourite destination anytime, but at Christmas it is extra special. Christmas decorations are everywhere, there are special menu items and let’s not forget the merchandise.
Spending the holidays in London and Paris this year!
My favorite destination on Christmas Day is home. I love having the kids and grandkids all come over for breakfast, gift opening and then a grand dinner in the mid afternoon. It is so wonderful having the entire family collect and enjoy each other.
Favorite destination is anywhere my family decides to celebrate!
I love spending Christmas at home surrounded by family. We are a small family, but we have traditions that we enjoy.
I have never spent Christmas there, but would like to some day–Europe. Maybe Germany.
While we really love being at home – we did once spend xmas in Colorado in the snow and it was fabulous. But really anywhere with family is the most favorite :)
Love
Being at our own home for Christmas will always be my favorite. After all of the busyness of the holiday season, that day is a more relaxed day of eating breakfast and watching movies by the Christmas tree with everyone in their pajamas all day. Love it!
I love being at home for Christmas, here in Virginia, we have lots of friends and family in for dinner, the hubby makes a mean prime rib.
My favorite Christmas destination is home.

Very cute layout! My sister & her kids do the pajama photo every year at Christmas. lol We spend every Christmas at my sister’s house with all our family. Wonderful and generous giveaways, thank you!
Home is always my favorite for the Holidays, especially if the kids (adults) can make it home. I have always wanted to rent a cabin in the snow for Christmas, to have a ‘white Christmas’.
We’ve always stayed home at Christmas. Except for that one year we camped (RV) at the beach twelve minutes from home and were still able to go to the family gathering.
We were married 12/12/12 so many holidays have been spent in the Caribbean. I love that, but there’s no place like home!
I love Simple Stories & Scrapbook Adhesive!
