Hello Scrapbook and Cards Today friends! It’s Becki here to share two cards with you that I created for Mother’s Day. I love making cards for Mother’s Day, and this year, I am using new, favorite products from The Stamp Market. Originally, I planned on creating one card, but as I created the first card, I quickly realized that I had to make more than one! These products were SO much fun to play with!

I used three die sets and 6 x 8 inch patterned paper from The Stamp Market. A combination of the Mom Layering DieThe Book Die, and the 3-D Perfect Posy Dies made the perfect Mother’s Day card for my mom. My mom is a librarian, so the Book Die is especially fitting for her. I cannot wait to give this card to her! When I’m working with lots of little bits and pieces, I like to keep them all together in plastic envelopes from Scrapbook.com. If you haven’t tried these, you’re missing out. They’re life changing!

The front of this card was created with a combination of patterned paper from the Little Love 6 x 8 inch papers and cardstock from the Cardstock Sampler Pack. The Stamp Market’s cardstock is awesome! It’s a thick, smooth cardstock that you MUST try!

While I was making the first Mother’s Day card, my daughter suggested that I create a card where the book actually opens. I decided to accept her challenge and create a second card. It was really easy to adapt the die set to make a book that opens.

I’m giddy with this little book shaped card! I love it so much! This card came together very quickly because I used the same basic design and the same products, but I changed the sentiment slightly so that the word “mom” had a little more color.

I’d love to show you how these cards came together! Watch as I show you the fun process of creating these cute Mother’s Day cards:

Happy Mother’s Day friends! Please feel a hug from me as I know Mother’s Day can be a difficult day, as well as a day of celebration. I love you and I hope you feel peace and love! Happy crafting, my friends.
