Hello, SCT friends! Today we are excited to tour another creative space in our Creative Spaces We Love series! These posts are meant to inspire you—even if you create in a different type of space, you can gain ideas, insights, and a bit of eye candy for how to organize and create in your own area! Let’s take a look at the room where Kelli Rich creates today!

Hey crafty friends! My name is Kelli Rich. Welcome to my creative space!

I like white space with pops of color—often in rainbow order. I enjoy thrift shopping, which means many things in my craft room are vintage finds.

My main desk is a vintage credenza. It has been an awesome find because it’s perfect for my craft room. It has 3 drawers and a  shelf on the bottom. The pink metal grid is another vintage find that works well above my desk. I use it to hang photos and other inspiration. I also added some washi tape and pom pom trim rolls to the metal grid.

For organization, I love my rolling carts. One has rainbow drawers, and one has white drawers. They are a great way to store craft supplies such as cards, alpha stickers, planner supplies, and much more.

I also love my mint colored 12×12 paper rack made by Crate Paper. I have stacked two together to create 12 shelves to hold paper. This is a great way to keep the paper out where I can see them, and easily use them.

My pink 3-tier rolling cart is where I organize my current projects. If it’s a work in progress, it will be found in the pink cart. This is also where I add new photos after I print them. This frees up space on my desk for creating, and can easily be moved around in my craft room.

Mini albums are my jam! They are my all-time favorite way of memory keeping. I like to display them on my white shelf. I will either create my custom albums with rings, or I will use one of the colorful albums from Citrus Twist Kits. Having a place to display them makes it even more fun to make them.

I collect typewriters and use them for my scrapbooking. I use them to add journaling to my pages, but I also love having them displayed in my craft room. Typewriters are relics of another time. Being a memory keeper, I am drawn to them and their timelessness. I also find them truly relevant for crafting!

I create crafty kits for my online shop. I always include tickets as part of the ephemera. This is why I have several rolls of tickets. They are fun to collect and are always cute added to scrapbook pages.

Thanks for checking out my creative space, It’s an expression of my creative style. The next time you are thrift shopping, look for the perfect item for your craft room! Don’t forget to check out my Instagram feed for more photos and reels, too!

I live in Cache Valley, UT with my husband and our 3 boys. We love spending time outdoors together. Each year I create a “family yearbook” album which includes a mix of pocket pages and traditional scrapbook pages. I also make mini albums themed on holidays and vacations throughout the year. I am also a lover of yoga, gardening, and astrology.
