Welcome, and happy Wednesday! We love to think of each Wednesday as “Workspace Wednesday” around here. It’s a chance to look around our creative space and figure out if and how it is working for us! It’s also a day that we love to introduce you to a fellow creative who has a space that they love, and today we’re looking no further than our creative team member, Victoria Calvin! Victoria has been working diligently to organize her space for the way that she works best, and we think you’ll love the space that she’s sharing with us today!

Hello, friends! This is Victoria and today I’m sharing a few of my favorite spaces in my craft studio. I recently reorganized my studio to make my space more functional for my crafting needs. This studio is where I work and create every day in addition to homeschooling my 12-year-old daughter. Since I spend so much time in my studio, all of my tools and supplies must be organized for maximum efficiency!

First up is my mixed media, paper, and embellishment storage. I purchased three Billy bookcases from Ikea and a cube system from Target to organize a variety of tools and materials including mixed media supplies, paints and brushes, paper collections, reference materials, and embellishments. Each bookcase has a specific function, making it easy for me to grab what I need when I’m working on projects.

The next area in my studio that I love is my stamping, embossing, and adhesive storage that I created using two Alex drawer units from Ikea. The drawers are wide and deep making them the perfect storage solution for a variety of tools and supplies including ink pads, mats, cutters, adhesives, stamp platforms, embossing materials, and more!

Next up is my printing and die-cutting station. I believe that all of my supplies and tools need a dedicated home in my studio, so I created a station specifically for printing and die cutting. For this station, I repurposed an old Ikea desk, a TV stand, and a Target cube system to house my printers, die-cutting machines, my Cricut electronic cutting machine, accessories, and tools. All of my electronic devices are plugged in and ready to go for maximum efficiency!

That last space in my craft studio that I absolutely adore is my counter-height craft island! I purchased two kitchen islands for Wayfair and positioned them back to back. I share this craft island with my daughter who is often in the studio working on craft projects and homeschool assignments. This island features a set of drawers and two shelves that I use to organize my most used tools and supplies including scissors, adhesives, pens, cutting knives, and more.

I hope you are inspired to create a happy crafty oasis in your home where you can make beautiful projects. Thanks for stopping by!
