Good morning SCT friends! Sheri Reguly here today. Sad to say, but as my children have gotten older, they’ve become less willing to smile for the camera. The days where a simple bribe would give me the opportunity to snap at least a dozen or two photos are far behind us.  Lucky for me, I took thousands and thousands of photos back in the day, most of which I haven’t gotten around to creating scrapbook pages for yet. It’s hard for me to believe, but the photos that I used on the layout that I’m sharing here today were taken back in 2010. It honestly doesn’t seem like it was that long ago…

The inspiration for my layout came from the playful patterns and colors in Pink Paislee’s Pick Me Up Collection. I opted to convert my photos to black and white, and I used my Silhouette to cut an extra large title using white cardstock. I then backed the title with a multi-striped pattern paper and added a fun assortment of embellishments to the left of my photos and to the right of the top portion of my title to help create balance. A simple journaling block, sentiment sticker, and chipboard alpha (to emphasize the year the photos were taken) added the finishing touch to my design.

Supplies: CARDSTOCK: Bazzill Basics; PATTERNED PAPER, CHIPBOARD ACCENTS, EPHEMERA, PUFFY STICKERS: Pink Paislee; MINI TASSELS: Crate Paper; EPOXY STICKERS: Pinkfresh Studios; ENAMEL DOTS: Simple Stories, American Crafts; ADHESIVE: Xyron, Scrapbook Adhesives

Thank you so much for joining me. Wishing you all a wonderful day! :)
