Hello there SCT friends! It’s Nicole here to continue on with another video in the “Designed With” series! This month, I am sharing a few tips with you on how to use some of the “busy” backgrounds patterned paper that you may have sitting in your stash, and I’m using the gorgeous, new Some Days collection from Pinkfresh Studio!
Supplies | Patterned paper, stickers, ephemera, chipboard, enamel dots – Pinkfresh Studio Some Days collection; Adhesives: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; Clip: Vicki Boutin for American Crafts; Twine: May Arts
Sometimes these gorgeous papers are almost too pretty to use, or they can be intimidating to create with—deciding how to use the pretty and fun patterns on the background, but make it work for your project!
These papers are actually really easy to use and not frightening at all! I like to think of them as great starting off points for page design and often inspire a whole page on their own!
Watch as I create this layout and incorporate this beautiful floral paper into my layout design! I hope you sit back, grab something to drink, and create along with me!
I hope that this has given you some ideas, and you will pull those busy patterned papers out of your stash to create! Thanks for joining me today!

Fun layout and I love the use of all the ephemera. Can’t wait to try it with all the fun ephemera in my stash. Thanks for the great ideas.
Love this layout! I like how you stacked on the extra flowers with foam tape and just played with things until you got the right mix of ephemera!
Always enjoy looking at your work for inspiration, Nicole!
This is so pretty!
Love it! Just got some products from this collection, I may have to scraplift :)
So bright and cheery!!! Gorgeous!
Beautiful layout!
