I just love using these fun, curated kits for my projects because all of the mixing and matching has already been done for me, and I know the colors and patterns are all going to work so well together!
Choosing the product is often the hardest part, so this allows me to start being creative right away! On this card, I used a lot of pieces from the kit: three different patterned papers, several frames and tags, some ephemera, enamel dots, and even a fun little puffy sticker!!
The Fun in the Sun kit comes with a fun package of frames and ephemera pieces from Echo Park Paper. I wanted to create this “good luck” card for a co-worker. Since the pre-printed sentiments didn’t work for my needs, I simply die-cut the letters I needed and flipped one of the ephemera pieces over to the white side–easy peasy!
Another thing I love about these kits is the versatility! Even though the kit is definitely summer-themed, I was able to pull out certain pieces to use on my “thanks” card that didn’t necessarily scream summer.
The florals are beautiful and perfectly convey the feelings of gratitude I wanted my card to portray.
Again, I simply die-cut the sentiment and a couple of leaves from the coordinating cardstock in the kit to complete this card.
I hope I’ve shared some new ideas with you! Remember that these kits make crafting easy, but there’s still plenty of opportunities to make the projects your own–you can still be creative and make something unexpected!
