Hello, friends! Today we want to share a bit of our Letters to Those I Love class with you! Taught by the amazing Jess Forster, this class was created to help you incorporate written letters on your layouts to help you document your feelings of love. Each lesson included a full PDF printable lesson handout with layout and pocket page inspiration by Jess, two process videos and a Facebook Live session with Jess in our Facebook Group! Let’s take a look at what our students learned over four weeks, and a few highlights of what they created in class!

Lesson one began by asking the class, “Who do you love?” We created a list of people we love and why we love them. We also learned about love letters and the myths associated with them.

In class, Jennifer used what she learned in lesson one to create this beautiful layout using one of our free cut files about her grandmother. We love how Jennifer numbered her love list to create a bold statement.

Robin started off an album that she created during class with a love letter for the reader and lists of the people, places and things that she loves in pockets. How beautiful!

Lesson two dove deeper into the anatomy of a love letter, breaking down the components so that we could craft our own love letters on our pages and in pockets.

Patti wrote a touching letter to her late husband and created a gorgeous layout to showcase it using our latest free cut file.

Barb created a clean and graphic layout to hold her love letter to her son, and we love that she used the number of days in his life as her title.

Shameea wrote her love letter about her daughter’s love of animals and created such a sweet layout to go along with it.

Lesson three gave us the opportunity to look into the past to add depth to love letters by connecting the past to the present.

In this layout, Beth Anne documented her love of letters to a past pen pal. What a great way to look at this lesson and connect the past to the present!

Tamara created a bold and beautiful layout documenting a love letter to her son and his strength and resilience in a past event.

Lesson four took it a step further and added another layer to our letter writing with our hopes for the future, and Jess shared two gorgeous projects that illustrated just how important the future was to incorporate into our letter writing to finish off the class. Our students are still creating and submitting, and we cannot wait to see more of their projects in the Facebook Group!
