Who loves to create shaker cards? We sure do, and in today’s special New & Noteworthy post, our friends at Picket Fence Studios are sharing shaker inspiration in a BIG way! Why just create a window when you can fill the entire card? Let’s take a look at the fun shaker projects and products that they have to share!

Crafters all around the world love to make shakers and with a few simple steps, you can transform cards into fun sensory projects. Our full front shaker die sets have four scoring lines and four cutting edges and come in three sizes, A2, Slim Line, and 5 x 7”. These dies will cut a variety of materials from paper to acetate, shaker sheets, vellum, and even tulle.

Our first inspirational project was designed by Charlene. She’s stamped, colored, and die-cut her images before adding sequins to her A2 full front shaker card. To add something a little extra, she created an additional shaker element with our connected circles to sit on top of the shaker front, which looks amazing!

Inspiration number two is from Jen, using the slightly larger 5”x7” full front shaker die. This time, a 6”x8” stencil is used as the focal point and our clay embellishments and sequins are the stars of the show. Shaker cards like this are easy to make and recreate if you want to batch-make a set of super fun cards.

If you’re looking for something beautifully colored and floral in nature, this delightful full-front slim line shaker card from Jen is simply perfection. Instead of acetate, she’s used vellum, which creates an opaque background.

It’s a gorgeous base for the sweet pea stamp and die set and the bold sequins are the perfect match for this beautiful card.

Here at Picket Fence Studios, we’re thrilled to share with you our full front shaker dies, and hope that you’ve found the projects from our design team both fun and inspirational!
