Hello, SCT friends! It’s Dilay here today sharing two cards created using products from the beautiful new July SCT Sampler! These all-occasion “hello” cards are perfect for the summer, and I’m excited to share them with you! Let’s get started!

I love the exclusive SCT ‘hello’ die included in this sampler so much that I used it for both cards as the focal point. For the first card, I trimmed the Doodlebug Design floral pattern paper down to 5” x 5.25”, then aligned the outline hello die to the bottom edge and die cut it. Next, I added foam tape to the back of the patterned paper and adhered it to an A2-sized card base. To fill in the cut-out, I cut the hello in three different colors, offset and adhered them together, then adhered it in the cutout.

Next, since I never like wasting paper (especially beautiful patterned paper), I fussy cut a few flowers and adhered them over the top with foam squares. For a little extra dimension, I die-cut Foliage Fillers and then tucked them under the flowers. As a finishing touch, I added a cute little ephemera heart to the hello!

For the second card, I cut the striped Doodlebug Design patterned paper with the frame die in the Gina K. Designs Master Layouts 4 set and then adhered it onto an A2-sized card base. To switch things up, I placed the hello die inside the shadow die, secured it with washi tape, and ran it through the die cutter. To add a pop of color, I cut the hello once more in yellow and adhered it onto the shadow outline, then adhered it with foam tape.

Next, I arranged ephemera flowers and leaves together, tucking them in behind the “hello” die cut before adhering them with more foam tape. I then cut a few more leaves and stems and adhered them behind the flowers. To finish, I added an adorable little ephemera birdie onto the hello!
