Good morning SCT readers, it’s Susan Wong, Artisan Design Team member with Stampin’ Up! The Memories & More card packs from Stampin’ Up! are such a great starting point for a variety of projects. I paired the Bundle Of Love Card Pack with the Fabulous Flamingo Photopolymer Stamp Set to make a soft tropical baby theme right from baby shower invitations to thank you notes.
I love how the leaves from the Fabulous Flamingo set worked so perfectly with black and vanilla stripes and the cute little elephants in the card pack. The leaves were stamped in Wild Wasabi and Tranquil Tide with some Smoky Slate splatters from the Touches of Texture Stamp Set.
Throughout the baby shower guests, were invited to write advice or other messages for the new parents. What easier way to do it than to have them use Memories & More Cards that I could slip straight into the album afterwards?!
I then carried this tropical baby theme through to the thank you notes. Here’s how:
1: Cut a Very Vanilla Cardstock base to 4 1/8” x 6 ¼” and fold in it half.
2: Stamp leaves and splatter on a Bundle of Love card to stick on the front.
3: Add a sentiment from the Fabulous Flamingo set and some Linen Thread or Gold Metallic Thread for texture.
Super cute, right?
