Hey crafty friends! It’s Jess here, and I am thrilled to be celebrating SCT’s 18th birthday! From the beginning, Scrapbook & Cards Today has showcased the latest trends in traditional layouts and creative cards. Feeling festive, I thought I would share a recent birthday pocket page that I made to document my daughter’s 8th birthday.

The plot twist with my page is that I used card supplies in my divided page protectors. Have a look:
In this double 6 x 8″ pocket page, I used the gorgeous Birthday patterned cardstock paper pad from Scrapbook.com. With plenty of colours to choose from, I paired the patterned papers with three photos of my daughter, Rowan, on her 8th birthday.
I created this fun title card using the Scrapbook.com Hooray Happy Birthday decorative die set. Using the Spellbinders Platinum 6 die-cutting machine was so much fun to create layers using the words, “Happy Birthday” title.
I also die cut the word “hooray,” adding it to my journaling card.
Mixing and matching well-designed products, whether they are for cards or layouts, is always a good idea! I love how this birthday pocket page came together so quickly using these products from Scrapbook.com! Wishing SCT a very happy 18th birthday! Here’s to many more to come!
