Good morning SCT friends! It’s a beautiful day here in Toronto and the city is in “Rapter-coma” after the thrilling NBA championship win late last night. Isn’t it fun when a celebration brings a city (in this case a country!) together? It was a great series between two extraordinary teams that keep everyone on the edge of their seats. The last 15 seconds of last night’s game was a nail-biter. Congrats Raptors. Thanks for making us all check our resting heart rates :)
It’s also been an exciting week around the SCT offices with yet again, our largest distribution of magazines and kits ever! THANK YOU to all of our SCT friends who continue to support all that we do and make each issue release so anticipated. Be sure to mark your calendars for next Friday, June 21st when our new summer issue should be landing on doorsteps and will be available online for papercrafters around the world.

My father was a very kind hearted man. He always put as first and he would be in the back burner. Now my hubby is the same with his kids. Always do things for them, always put them first, just like my dad did to me and my brother.
Great cards! It is so nice to see such attractive papers. I have a plethora of flowery paper but not too much for the man in my life. This collection fits the bill perfectly.
Thanks for this great post. I lost my Dad in February, he was 93 and had suffered with Alzheimer’s the last several years. I am truly happy that he has gone “home” to be with the Lord. He had a very strong faith, he has joined my eldest brother, who also had a very strong faith. I did make my hubby a Dad’s day card and will be spending the day with him. Our kids, who live in different states, are meeting up, along with their spouses to spend a week vacationing together. I’m so glad they enjoy each other’s company enough to want to travel together for a week.
I have two special dads I want to mention: first, my dad, who’s taken care of my sisters and my mom for years. It was hard being the only man in a house full of women! Now it’s his turn to be cared for, as we watch over his health in his twilight years.
And then second, there’s my husband, who’s the hardest-working dad that I could ask for, for our kids. I’ve been blessed to be have a kind dad who has cared for his family so much, and then find another man who feels the same way about me and our kids.
My hubby has been a great Dad to ur 3 kids. He served his country for 26 years in the Air Force and continues to do so working for the National Park Service. He’s also a darn good golfer. :D Thanks for the chance to win!
Just what I have been waiting for a complete masculine package. It’s so hard to do masculine cards and I love this package.
Great post, showcasing a great company! Thanks PhotoPlay for this fantastic set of papers. Great color, theme, and homage to dads <3
What a great masculine collection. I love the color combos, so great. Sadly, my dad passed away in Europe when I was living on Canada’s west coast. I made it on time for the funeral but wasn’t able to say a proper good-bye. He was the epitome of a true gentleman and is missed greatly in our lives.
I had an amazing Dad. He had four daughters that he shared his work ethic with my teaching us to be his dental assistants. He loved to snow ski with us, took us bird hunting, and made sure there was a lot of family time on the lake waterskiing. He died too young, but left a lasting legacy!
My husband is a wonderful dad, husband and uncle. This paper collection has a great variety of paper and sentiments.
Love this collection by Photo Play (I love ALL of their collections!). I sadly lost my dad many years ago. The person I celebrate now is my husband, who is an amazingly patient and kind dad to our two kids (now young adults)!
Oh my goodness!! Thank you so very much!!
My father died when I was only 12. I often think of him and wonder what he would think of my children and grand children. He was an engineer and I always loved math. I still remember him teaching me to use a slide rule and I now have his.
Great masculine collection! I have to admit I don’t have much in my stash for the guys … even tho there are more of them than girls in my family. lol And I am pretty girly myself. Thanks so much for the chance to win.
I love that collection! We have a great dad in our home and this would be awesome to use to celebrate him.
My father just turned 90 on his last birthday this June. He still lives with my mom (88) in their own home on an acreage and they have just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in May. He is such a positive and steady influence in my life!!
My dad is the master of “dad jokes”! Never a dull moment when we visit ???? I love watching my dad joke around with my daughters.
My husband is a fantastic father and does a great job of getting our daughters involved. I love that he reinforces to them that girls can do anything!
This would be a fantastic collection to document the great men in my life!
My husband is a wonderful dad! He is always helping our kids with anything they have going on.
This is a wonderful paper collection! Love the nuts and bolts paper especially.
My hubby is the most supportive guy, and he also has sexy blue eyes!
My late father was a true patriot. A veteran of the Army Air Corps WWII Pacific, he flew the flag every single day.
I love this collection and have the perfect Dad photos to scrap with it. I was so fortunate to have one of the all time great dads. After my birth father passed from a brain tumor, this wonderful man married my Mom and adopted us two kids who were 5 and 3 at the time and raised us as his own, no small feat either financially or emotionally. We lost him as well about 15 years ago to cancer, and I would like to scrap his years with us as our Pop. Thank you for the opportunity to win this collection that is both colorful and masculine.
I have a wonderful stepdad, who never had biological children. He and my mom married when I was 18 but he fits in so well. He’s Grandpa to a pile of grandkids too! No one would guess he’s not my “real” dad, as he is always there for me and my kids! He’s wonderful and I could never thank him enough for all he does!
My Dad will turn 89 this year. He has been a farmer all his life . He is also a retired factory worker. He worked 2 jobs to provide for our family when we were growing up. He always instilled in us a good work ethic.
My Dad has been in his heavenly home for the last 9 years. We have many fond memories of him :) Thanks for the chance to win this amazing Father’s Day giveaway!!
Such a cute collection! My dad is awesome. He never hesitates to come help us if we need it and had always been such a loving dad. I’m still a Daddy’s girl, and he still brings me chocolate when he comes over sometimes. He’s just so sweet.
Growing up my dad was a great memory keeper. Always camera ready, he captured so much of my childhood and inspired me to get behind the camera, too.
My Dad has a really kind heart – he always wants to help people, do anything he can that helps them out.
Thanks for the opportunity to win this awesome collection!
My husband died 2 1/2 years ago…I was devastated to say the least. My wonderful son moved in with me and helps to maintain our 16 acre hobby farm. Although he doesn’t have children of his own, he is known as “funcle” John. He is dad to a little 10 year old Pomeranian who has cancer and is currently receiving chemotherapy. I don’t know what I’d do without him!
My dad is so smart on how to fix ANYTHING! He is also willing to lend a hand to help anyone! Such a great father to us.
I don’t have any masculine themed collections so this would be awesome to win! My dad is 74 years young, strong as an ox and fit as a fiddle, and never stops for a minute. He worked in construction all his life, and even at his age, he’s still doing home renos and pouring concrete! I keep telling him that he’s going to outlive us all. Love my dad! <3
Both my dad and father in law are gone now but I always appreciated how much help they were to us with all of our crazy projects.
My dad never knew a stranger. Every where he went he made friends with new people. I love this paper, especially the fishing ones as dad loved to fish.
I am so fortunate to have a dad who encouraged me in every way. When he discovered I loved music, he took me to concerts and supported my musical interests. He always had time to listen to my teenage angst, and knew I just needed someone to listen. He taught me by example how to love others and do the right thing. He used to save little odds and ends and use led them to “MacGyver” gadgets, so now I save odds and ends to use on my cards! My dad is a great example of loving others unconditionally.
My father in law is a very special person – compassionate and kind and so much fun to boot. He is a WWII vet and still manages to keep up to date in the world around him and his family!
First off, congratulations champs! Being from San Antonio, it has been a crazy season! You guys have a great team! Awesome win!
I would like to say my husband is the best dad ever! You all create and design beautiful cards and such so when he makes them happy whether it’s a happy or sad time, car or boy problems, there’s the unexpected flowers in a vase or the “I love you” just because. Shoulder to cry on. I’m there but HE’S THE DAD!
My Dad was the best. He was always there for us when we needed him. He was also really funny. I miss him every day. :(
Great papers for the great men in my life!
I have four wonderful dads in my life – my beloved husband of 51 years, two sons and a son-in-law. All are devoted dads and husbands who put family first! Would love to win this prize!
My dad has dementia now but he always makes me laugh! I love that man to pieces ????
The best thing about my Dad is that he’s never afraid to try anything. As a result I experienced a lot of things growing up.
After my Dad had a heart attack and triple bypass surgery about ten years ago, I realized how quickly my life could change if he was no longer in it. I enjoy spending more time with him and am so thankful that he is still with us, especially for Fathers Day each year. He has become more of a friend and wise mentor for me, since his heart attack and bypass. I am so glad I have been able to spend more time with him, to get to know him as the kind, funny person he is. Whenever I see him, my Dad always welcomes me with a big hug and calls me his pet name for me since I was born! When I stop by to visit, we both look forward to our visits, the hugs and the conversation! Would love to win this terrific prize so I can scrapbook Fathers Day this year. Thanks for the chance to win.
Thanks for the giveaway. My dad passed away in 1990 – 29 years ago!! I loved his quiet gentle spirit and the twinkle in his eye when he was up to something
My Dad was such a funny and gentle man, I miss him so much!

I most appreciate my dad for his generosity & how he still looks out for me even though I’m now retired! He’s a gem!
A perfect giveaway for Father’s Day weekend. I’d love a chance to win this collection to celebrate my awesome dad.
Great cards! And Awsome masculine collection. Well, my dad has been passed for years now. But I want to say how proud I am of my youngest son.. he’s been the best Dad to my three little grandkids, Wich they would say… (Best Dad ever!)
Awesome paper! Great ideas!
What an awesome collection!! Thank you for a chance to win! I have very blessed my entire life to have the love and support of both my parents. My dad worked long hours as I was growing up but he made sure that the time he did have with the family made up for it!! The year I was pregnant with my twins my dad retired, which worked out great for me, because I sure appreciated the help he wanted to give!!! A few years later he became my travel partner driving my daughter and I back and forth as needed just over an hour away to her hospital for all her medical testings and spending endless hours with us at the hospital helping keep my daughter entertained as she was hooked up to her EEGs every three months. Or waiting with me as she was having her MRI’s! Never in a million years would I have thought it would be my dad who would accompany us, after all it had been my mom the first year and when she couldn’t do it he stepped in and continued to be on call for us the next 8 years and counting!! I sure will be wishing my dad a very Happy Father’s Day this Sunday!!!
Awesome kit! Love the masculine theme & colors. Especially love that grilling paper! Though my father is no longer with me, I have many male family members who I could make some fantastic cards for with this kit! Wishing all the men out there a Happy Father’s Day!
We are blessed to have my dad in our lives still. He had a heart attack and almost did not make it. I am so thankful he is here and made the changes needed to get healthy. My dad is an awesome Grandpa. I could not ask for better for my kids. He attends every game and event, cheering them on. He shows interest in their interests and is always there for them. He loves them and loves to spend time with them and it shows. He takes them camping, hiking and biking. He was a great dad and is an even better grandpa and we are all lucky to have him in our lives.
Love this great collection for the dad’s in our life. Dad loves his grandkids and loves to play with with them!
Awesome post. Love all the projects. Thanks for the chance to win this.
Need to scrapbook a lot of pages of my dad. I miss him very much. He and I had a special bond.
As time goes by I noriced a lot of things I have learned from him and we also have a lot in common.
Wish I could sit with him and have a coffee and a talk about anything.
Hugs,
Kitty
