We are so excited to be joining our friends at Altenew to celebrate their 10th anniversary today! What a milestone! Not only will you find a blog hop filled with inspiration, but a huge amount of prizes, too!
If you get lost along the way, head back to the Altenew card blog where you can find the full list of stops. Now, let’s let Mindy Eggen take over so that she can inspire you with gorgeous Altenew products, and don’t miss the giveaway details at the end of the post!
Welcome friends! This is Mindy and I’m so excited to be here today to celebrate Altenew’s anniversary! I have been a huge fan of Altenew for quite some time and love working with their products. If you know me, you know I’m a fan of ink blending and stencils and Altenew comes up with the most amazing designs to make me feel like I’m an artist.
Today’s card project features the Amorous Dream Stencil Art set which is a six-piece layering stencil to create this gorgeous no-line look. I used the sticky mat from my Stamp Wheel to hold my cardstock and stencil in place while ink blending.
And have you checked out their blending brushes?! They are some of my favorites! I used the Large Blending Tool to cover large surfaces of my cardstock or an entire panel, Small Blending Tools for stencils like this one, and then the Mini Ink Blending Brushes for smaller areas.
Another one of my favorite things about Altenew and what drew me to them was their inks. They come in curated collections that are perfect for layering stamp sets or layering stencils. I don’t need to rack my brain about what colors would look good together. They did all the hard work for me!
The Round Ink Collections that I’m using today are Green Fields, Red Sunset, Golden Sunset, and Sweet Dreams. This created the most gorgeous bouquet with a serious Spring vibe and paired with an inspirational message from the Dynamic Duo Painted Blossom stamp set.
Happy anniversary, Altenew! It is always a pleasure working with you and your products and here’s to many more years of success!

I loved hosting birthday parties for my kids. The roller rink was always a fun one. I remember helping one little girl learn on the carpet before hitting the rink. She hugged the wall around the rink, but was brave to try! Sometimes we have to do that with trying something new, just be brave and try!
