Welcome friends! This is Mindy Eggen, and I’m back to share inspiration with you today featuring all-occasion cards. I find these are the kind of cards that I reach for the most even over birthday cards because they can be sent at any time throughout the year.

What’s better than a card that brings hope, inspiration, or adds a little sunshine to someone’s day?

One of the quickest and easiest ways to create a handful of cards is by using a stencil, but not just any stencil: a Create-In-Quads stencil. I’m using the Create-In-Quads Poster Prints stencil for my cards today. To be honest, this color scheme was new to me. I don’t have a lot of home decor in my house, so when I went to Pinterest for color inspiration, I was amazed at the huge variety out there.

I couldn’t wait to get my inks out and start ink-blending beautiful color combinations!

I took a detour from my normal bright and rainbow color style and went with a more modern look. The colors I’m using for my card projects are Banana Cream Pie, Sweet Basil, Rose Water, Peaches n’ Cream, Passion Fruit and Dragon Fruit. All of these are from Taylored Expressions and I used a mix of regular blending brushes and detail blender brushes to achieve the gradient of color that I wanted.

Another product I found useful when creating these cards was the Create-In-Quads paper pack which includes white cardstock already cut to the perfect size for my stencil.

One of the most inspiring sentiment sets I have seen lately is the You Are set from Taylored Expressions. This is a stepped-up version of “thinking of you” and can be used throughout the year whether it be for sympathy, encouragement, congratulations or just to say hi.

These sentiments are stamped in Oreo ink and cut out with the coordinating die so I can arrange them how I like on the front of the card.

After trimming the stenciled panels down to card fronts, I could have left them as is and just added each to a card base, but I have a thing for the postage look. I trimmed the stenciled panels down to fit just inside the largest postage die from the A2 Postage Stamp Stacklets die set. These were added with thin foam strips to give them a little lift.

I couldn’t be happier with this set of cards, and to be honest, while I was creating, I created two more sets in different color combinations so they are ready to have on hand.

I hope you found inspiration in these cards and will check out these sets from Taylored Expressions and dig through your stash to see if you have some all-occasion sentiments and start sending those cards! The best time to send a card is when the person least expects it.

Take care, friends!
