Hi, SCT friends! It’s Jess Forster here and I am excited to share a fun winter project using the colourful Simple Stories Winter Wonder collection. When it comes to documenting my kids, I love looking through old photos to see how much they have grown. During a cold freeze last weekend, I put together this cute flip book documenting our adventures in the snow through the years. Have a look:

For this 4 x 6-inch Flipbook, I scrolled through my camera roll and selected a variety of photos of my kids participating in various winter activities. I printed them in a variety of sizes, mostly 3” x 4” and 4” x 6”.

After taking the Flipbook apart, I combined 4 x 6-inch pocket pages with two types of paper pockets that I created from the Simple Stories Winter Wonder collection. I love the mixture of plaids, polka dots, and the word “Brrrr” on paper.

The coral, teal, pink, and navy colour combination is my favourite. I turned all my pictures into black and white photos. Not only do I love this classic look, but it also makes the colour combination within the Winter Wonder collection pop.

I embellished the pocket pages and paper pockets simply with the enamel dots. Tags and journaling element cards held my reflections, which make this book interactive and full of surprises!

It is so fun to watch my kids grow and have fun in the snow with this dedicated album. Easily replicated by selecting a theme or season, I hope this 4 x 6 Simple Stories Winter Wonder Flipbook inspires you to create your own mini album documenting people you love through the years or decades.

Happy scrapbooking!
